  • Kenyan President William Ruto attended the US-Kenya Business Forum while on his official state visit to the United States to attract cross-continent investment opportunities. While praise is coming from Washington, Kenyans remain skeptical of what any future deals could bring. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Wellington Nyongesa, the News Editor for KTN, a VOA affiliate.

The loudest skeptics are the fools who have been frustrated because business is not as usual. Ruto means business, and Kenya is moving forward!

We went to Somalia and restored sanity.
All we did was cross the border (iin 2011).
      They are Africans.
Nothing special here. We'll come to Haiti and hope all goes well and do our job God willing.
