Wakeboarding with Hip Replacements

Laura has been wakeboarding for approximately 3 months. She wakeboards mostly on cable, but today she went behind the boat. She's had bilateral hip replacements, and also has muscular dystrophy, but doesn't let it stop her from wakeboarding. Most of the time she rides at Trophy Lakes on Johns Island South Carolina. They have an amazing cable park and lakes for skiers and wakeboarders, and the staff out there are fantastic. She is riding on a 2012 Ronix Viva Modello Board with Ronix Cell Boots that have been molded to her feet.

Hello, does it pain after hip replacements when you do these? I had one. Too

Yes, it does at times. But only when landing wrong or landing big air.
