One of my all-time favorite songs. Sadly, it sounds like the lead singer lost most of her vocal range. Not sure why. She sings the lead almost as if she was a background vocalist trying to sing background harmony. I think it's time to bring in a new lead singer. Or maybe just go back to lip-synching.
So sad, she can't sing anymore. She can't even reach basic notes from original songs, male vocalist is still rocking and his voice still in good shape.

@@okay4634 I agree on that too. Depends on how much you keep your voice exercised, the voice is like a muscle, if you stop for a period of time your singing voice will suffer.
Rene is definitely the source of high energy when they perform live. I hate to say but Lene has no rhythm and cant dance, I watched other videos and same thing. I think without Rene on stage it wouldnt have that energy.

Maybe her voice changed as most singers' voices change over the years, it's been 25 years since Barbie Girl came out.
Glad I'm not the only one thinking this. I see people are defending her to no end, but the fact is her voice is not the same.
