Master 1 Blue-Eyes Blind 2nd OTK Deck

- I reached my 5th Master 1 with this deck. This is the latest update on my original creation Blue-Eyes XYZ OTK, which got me my 1st Master 1 ( • My 1st Master 1 Rank B... ), to face the current meta which are dominated by Purrely and Kashtira.
The deck's gameplan is to go 2nd, be aggresive, and OTK if possible. To do that, I play plenty of cards to counter/destroy the meta. This also includes the new card, Triple Tactic Thrust, to search some anti-meta spell cards (like Dark Hole/Herald), and also boost the deck's consistency by adding Melody or Pot of Desires if needed.
There are also games that I won pretty easily, like destroying my opponent's cards through Alternative+Jet, Dark Hole, Harpies Feather Duster, etc, stopping opp's turn/got many cards due to Maxx C, facing bricking opponents, etc, then I OTKed them on the next turn. I didnt include these games in the video, but basically I could OTK my opponents by using Numeron Dragon after clearing the obstacles.

I had considered to reach Master 1 with Chaos MAX OTK, but I feel my Blue-Eyes XYZ OTK is more suited against the current meta. If this video does well, I may consider making the Chaos MAX OTK video.

Built a deck for it recently, taking advantage of Herald of the Arc Light's search not being a once per turn. Diviner of the Herald, Ultimate Slayer, and Extra Foolish Burial were all combo pieces. Fun stuff.
Chaos MAX is my fav. main deck monster. Too bad she isn't great.

The Mikanko battle @ 16:00 felt like poetic justice whereby you beat your opponent (a Mikanko player) by using their own tactics against them. Namely using another monster as bait and them attacking into them, except you did it with such ferocity, I loved it!

There are the banned "Legendary Dragon of White" and 2 normal materials "Thunder End Dragon", which are the closest related to Blue-Eyes.

I guess they did give Legendary Dragon of White's effect to every monster in Master Duel..
Also, i think a rank 1/4/8 or link that either helped summon Blue-Eyes ideally, or even just helped get them in rotation, could really help the consistency. There's plenty of main deck cards that search the pieces, but not too many extra deck "enablers". All boss monsters, basically.

That duel against scareclaw tossing the ash was correct. He used CBTG which wouldve kept it negated on your turn too.

Recently ive gone back to branded blue eyes was playing blue eyes/black luster soldier legendary swordsaman board breaker ritual deck it did alright but was too slow for top Meta decks. But was fun to break boards with. A Blue Eyes XYZ deck is an interesting concept i may build one eventually.

I noticed no one literally no one plays Hieratic Sky (they do play Sun). What is the reason?
I think Hieratic Sky negation is too rare to use, while Sun destroying effect is easier to use.

What cards would you recommend for this deck in the current mathmech meta?
You can play more Bystials/Droll and Lock against Mathmech. Magnamhut is especially good, since it counters mathmech, while also help you search any Dragons, which this deck has a lot of.
Any thoughts on what to replace the one Pot of Desires that’s just been banned out with? TTT? Trade-In? Reigeki?
I think either TTT or Trade-in is the best option.

noob question at 2:47 how did you summon armor dragon after taking control of his monster? when I checked my extra deck it only let me summon cipher x dragon
Full Armor can use Galaxy-Eyes XYZ monster as material for its XYZ summon. Since Cipher Dragon steals a XYZ and renames it into Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon, I can summon Full Armor Photon with it (also there is no effect to lock me to only summon Cipher monsters).
Any tips for traptrix? Nothing I do seems to work. Would love to see a video.
Play more anti backrow cards, like Lightning storm or red reboot against their traps.

Noob question here. Why fenrir didn't banish alternative blue eyes 2:21 ? it should quick effect on alternative blue eyes effect or am i missing something
Fenrir uses its effect AFTER another monster's effect resolves (not in the same chain). Which means it cant chain its banish effect to Alternative.
I can't seem to get out of Platinum rank at the moment.😅

Any card that counters your opponent is best. Some good cards, including Dark Hole, Raigeki, Evenly, Lightning Storm etc

In case he needs to wipe his monsters, the runick teck monster one it hits opponents graveyard it special summons to your side of the field and locks you from special summoning. There are other problematic cards it's best to wipe your own field
