  • Hi again!
This is the video following the last one where changing motherboards left one of them homeless., the one from the mystery CPU videos.
Now I've got a new case and it is the right fit for the system.
Also I test a KVM switch between CPU systems.
Let me know what you think, and if you like it, leave a like and subscribe.
    Cheers!

Hey thanks for your comment! Great system to mess around, I have something similar to present in the future as well as various graphics cards AGP and early PCIE. Good luck with that and looking forward to see it in action.

Why not just use two zipties for the SB Memory?

Thanks for your comment! It would work if the force applied was to the top and bottom edges of the card, I would have to try it anyway but I think this approach is more consistent applying pressure in the correct spot. I wouldn't like the board to torsion if the ties strangle it since a good pressure would be required to press the memory modules down. Also, the clamps were made in 2 minutes. Cheers!

@@restoredwards Thanks for your reply. Zipties can be fixed in the same places as the current solution, but yes, there will be a little more pressure points. But they will be less conspicuous. By the way, are the current clamps sure not to rest against the bottom of the case? This can bend the board.

@@crapasanya Yes, I guess my approach is because I would like to make 3D printed clamps. As you say, it rests against the bottom of the case but it's on purpose because I have also taken advantage and has the exact length working as support for the card sagging downwards. That's why I like the clamp. In this video you can see the first time I used them and how it helps the board not to sagg: czcams.com/video/Vro-lU5_IMU/video.html
