(Animation) What Really Happens When You Leave Cult Of The Lamb?

- A Cult Of The Lamb animation that accurately reveals what your animal followers do when you leave your camp alone for a day. Lots of sinners, dissenters, even cannibals... looks like it's time to make a few sacrifices. What a great way to celebrate the first day of Autumn/Fall! As well as the blood moon festival.
For those who don't know, Cult of the Lamb is a very unique game, but to put it short, it's like The Binding Of Isaac and Animal Crossing had a baby. A grim... scary (but also cute) baby.
This was a passion project (created in Toonboom Harmony), so I don't expect to receive many views on this compared to my other cartoons. However, I wanted to make this animation to express my gratitude for Cult Of The Lamb and a big thanks to Massive Monster (the developers) as well as the fanbase of this amazing and unique game. I tried blending my drawing and animation style with the Cult Of The Lamb game art, as well as hints of Animal Crossing designs in there too! There are a few references to my own playthrough of the game too, like Samantha the cute kitten, Paprika the adorable red panda, and the green dino that looks like Yoshi, who I named... Yoshi. Creative, right?
This is my proudest animation yet, there is a lot more action and fluid movements than my previous projects so if it does well then who knows, there may be another Cult Of The Lamb Animation on the horizon with a much bigger idea. Thank you very much for watching!

I dunno why, but this feels relatable.
Sometimes, when I come back from crusades, I come back to a total disaster! There's like at least 2 dissenters and more than 5 collapsed beds, aswell some poop scattered across the ground.
Yeah the cult goes insane without it's "trusty" leader hahah

@Tim Chamberlin @Diceshard @BLOODKINGbro Or you can go the goody two shoes rout and use Christian teachings to create a Christian themed cult, so when your followers are unaffected by death and gain faith when one becomes an elder. Once you got all the right Commandments chosen, the game just becomes animal crossing with bloody crusades on the side.

That's a nice rhyme, but if all is your followers die. then the game will delete your save file

The fact the ending gag aged so well is hilarious and terrifying
- the animation is REAAAAAAAAALY smooth
- this is a cult, but it feels like a daycare
- the dark blue guy just eating everything (he even considered eating the corpse of the elder axolotl) is gold to me
- the way Lamb's... Ummm... crown(?) turned into a gun is another thing i love
- the yellow guy becoming enraged bcuz his task wasn't done in few minutes is relatable

I feel this animation so hard.
I had this same thing happen to me - I went out on a Crusade to gather supplies, and come back to find two dissenters and everyone starving, despite having maxed out faithfulness + making extra meals before leaving.
Outside of it being relatable, I love it!! The quality is amazing, it's so well done, and I love the different quirks you put in for the characters!

Fighting false gods among traitorous followers, all hell breaking loose, a follower gains PTSD, a cannibal addicted to eating everything including toys from, and Gun-Crown.
Sounds like Twitch Chat being chaotic evil.
First of all, the animation is so very well done and accurate about graphics. If I didn't read the name of the channel, I could think this came from the devs themselves. Second, this is accurate about the gameplay like, so much. This isn't a cult, but a foking child-keeping place where three fights, two shits on the carpet and 4 sick happened because you just blinked.

Very relatable. Also I knew the Lamb would have a funny confused look on his face when that follower set down a timer (I hate those timers), but I didn’t expect it to be so funny that I burst out laughing. I don’t know what it was. It just cracked me up.

With the new update there's a setting to pause time while your on a crusade, and that makes the idea more horrific that while your gone everyone in your cult Is frozen in time but can still look around in complete horror.

Litteraly yesterday I walked away from my cult ten minutes to do something irl, came back, and half there was poo everywhere, someone had rebelled and loyalty was at 0. Never again💀
This is so accurate man. I swear anytime I go on a crusade theirs at least 1 or 2 followers dissenting, one of the old followers dies, and they’re all hungry
vomit town aka my cult had an issue where everyone would throw up over anything. All it took was one person not able to make it to the outhouse and suddenly everyone has vomited and then VOMITED AGAIN because of all the VOMIT everywhere. 11/10 game

i don't have a problem with this in my cult, everyone is treated well and everything is clean, the only problem I keep having is finding new members because the ones I have get old and pass on really, really fast
Yeah, me too, except for that one guy i kept resurecting from old age because he had high loyalty and a moon necklace

@@fractalgem yep I had to do that a couple of times with followers that I really liked, but I don’t really like having them ascend, it just seems like a really painful death to me I just let them live out their lives and die of natural causes before resurrecting them, because I am a kind and just cult leader, I mean heck I don’t even put people into the gallows for very long if they didn’t do anything, I lock them up in the gallows, let them be in there for about 10 minutes and then I’m just like “ok you’re free to go”

I think I created a routine whenever I go for supplies: at night I cook as much food as I can and then clean the outhouses, in the morning I have the sermon and part ways, it takes me almost a day to get back, but in the end, everything is in its place.
Assign 4 followers to chopping wood.
Build 3 wood stations.
Zero stations occupied.
Very accurate. I bet you assigned at least 2 people to cleaning restrooms, too.
Facts. I assigned at least 3 members to tend to the farm (including a seed silo, lv. 2 station, and compost) and I still somehow managed to have even less berries to cook then when I maintained the farm myself, lol.

@@DeltaplanetAnimations Basically, it's an anthology of episodes in the show that depend on a literal roll of the dice. One episode involves one of the cast coming back with pizzas, only to see a disastrous fight scene, complete with fire.

I love how the animation art style works so well with the games style it looks so natural!
I love how this animation could have anyone loving it.
For the longest time, I always thought that Feast was the most busted feature ever after you come back from a run, spending some bones to insta-fill your cult's hunger bar without any other resources, hindered only by the cooldown. Even if everything else breaks down, at least it's somewhat less likely so when I learn to check up on the cult status every 2 tiles of a run lol
I couldn't beat the game without Fast tbh that paired with the brainwash was the only way I managed to get anything done
I had to use fast instead in order to stop my cult from starving while I was gone! I legit wouldn't have been able to beat the game without it!
With Sins Of The Flesh, things have only gotten more insane.

Watching this video a year later really makes me appreciate all the quality of life updates the devs made to Cult of the Lamb.
Leaving for a Crusade was mandatory, but it always would be a gamble to see if the cult itself was still standing when you came back.
So happy that those days are over.

It’s funny because at the end the lambs crown becomes a gun which he was most likely gonna use to either restore order in the cult or just kill everyone and now there’s a ACTUAL gun weapon in the game
Playing on the bighest difficulty is like playing the game normally, but inbetween fun roguelike playthrougjs, you have to do a 25 minute long fishing minigame or your entire cult starves
The last bit is what got me truly amazing.
The animation hits the nail on the head perfectly. Go on a crusade along with a followers quest, only to come back to a chaotic mess with a dissenter, everyone's starved and sick, and pissed lol

Every time i come back from a crusade its like everyone decided to just cause havok- so much that I tend to come back to 2 dead, one dissenting, and theyre all starving despite having fed them RIGHT BEFORE I LEFT. Then someone decides to tell me they love someone and has me make them a Splendid feast like I have the resources for that- *continues vent for another paragraph*
they gave the lamb a gun in the game so this animaiton is now canon :3
If they do a dlc they need to do some expansion on self maintenance with the cult followers cause as soon as you leave shit hits the fan. quite a good place to start is a pantry or root cellar or something so followers can automatically eat stored food and it should have a diet setting for rationing depending on how much you have as well as a chef job for followers it would make it a hell of a lot easier on the micro management
This is extremely accurate after adventuring and it’s worst if a boss makes someone sick in a middle of a crusade
