Deuda Khel from Chaitali | Farwest Nepal | Nepali Folk Tradition | BhalaBhali Folklores

Deuda, the most popular folk musical performance of Karnali and the Far Western region of Nepal, is performed in a question-answer format where one group questions and another group replies through singing. This performance is sung in various melodies and is typically performed between men and women. However, it can also be performed between groups of women or groups of men. The most exciting Deuda performances involve the participation of both men and women. When Deuda is performed exclusively by men without the participation of women, it is referred to as "Raado Deuda."
डेउडा कर्णाली र सुदुरपश्चिमको सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय लोकसंगीत हो। डेउडा गितलाई दोहोरो सवाल-जवाफ गरेर गाइन्छ। डेउडा गीतको पुर्ण संरचना २८ अक्षरको हुन्छ। एउटा गीतमा १४-१४ अक्षरका दुई पङ्क्ति हुन्छन्। र डेउडा विभिन्न भाकामा गाईन्छ । प्राय डेउडा महिला र पुरुष बिच गाइन्छ भने कुनै बेला महिला-महिला, पुरुष-पुरुष भएर पनि गाईन्छ। र महिला-पुरुषको सहभागिता रहेको डेउडा खेल सबैभन्दा रोमाञ्चकारी हुन्छ। महिलाहरुको सहभागिताविना पुरुष-पुरुषहरुले खेलिने डेउडालाई राँडो डेउडा भनिन्छ ।
