Mayro is FEMALE and listen to You and I, You’re my Best friend, spread your wings etc
yeah and it's kinda nostalgic too
All 4 members have such distinct songwriting styles.
Why the band is so lovable ❤️
Freddie's are usually about desperation and love (i.e It's a Hard Life, Somebody to Love, etc.)
Brian's are usually about power and triumph (I Want It All, Hammer To Fall, The Show Must Go On, etc.)
Roger's are usually about fantasy or just surrealistic themes (Tenement Funster, Radio Gaga, Invisible Man, etc.)
John's are usually about love (this song right here) or events based on his own life (I Want to Break Free, Misfire, etc.)

One of queen's most underrated songs
"Don't try suicide" and "Dragon attack" too. All the songs from The Game are splendid.
agree Very underrated song
Specially the bass lines!
Yes!!!! This is one of my favorites!
Many of Queen's early albums (Queen, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera, etc.) are SO underrated!

The Otaku Musician he REALLY is
John can write the best love songs. He is so in love with his wife.
ikr. the fact he wrote misfire 😂
Veronica cheated on him, only one of his children is genetically his, the song is for another woman
@@valeriachambillo7598 this is so funny. Have you ever seen all of them? John's genetic is really strong
@PpCuyPlay Yeah but she too
John's in love with his wife, Brian with his hair, Freddie with his cats and Roger with his car.
John Deacon is the master of romantic love songs.
DONT YOU MISFIRE TO FILL ME UP
Still can't understand why this song wasn't a hit!!?? One of the best from The Game
@Crash64100 So many Queen songs deserved to be hits that never were, unfortunately.
All of the queen songs should have been hits. Try and change my mind

It wasnt released as a single

+AWESOME I still don't understand that so many of their songs are hits
to me their most underrated song is the march of the black queen
Luck 99 true. The whole Queen II is one amazing complete pogressive album. One of my favourites
Honestly: Did John Deacon ever write a bad song? I feel like the answer is no. He may not have been as prolific as the others, but when he did, holy shit it was good.
Also: haven't listened to this song in a while and forgot it blasted that guitar at the start. I have the volume up high. RIP my ears.
Youre right. He didnt write a bad song.

Only band in history of music where all members have a #1 single. Bad ass.
I searched up "I need your loving tonight" looking for Elvis' song. Here I am, finding another great song by my favourite band. I love when I find a new Queen song that I had no clue existed.
Retro I recommend you to hear the full albums. There are a lot of hidden jewels out there!
I don't see how you could be a
huge fan and not know this song.
It was the last single released
from THE GAME and came close
to the top-40, reaching #44 in 1980.
Well then you need to get this album because it is fantastic.
It's The Game album, go and get it!! Recommended
This song got a little airplay in the latter part of 1980. Unfortunately, the only Queen song you hear today on oldies radio is "Crazy little thing called love" and occasionally "Another one bites the dust".
Another Bites the Dust got all the Accolades. But John wrote another awesome song on this Great Album.
I'm having more appreciation for John as a songwriter. I didn't realize a lot of the songs I loved from Queen growing up was by him.
@@ayf1983 Agreed. Heck in Hot Space the only songs on that album that I like (Back Chat, Cool Cat, Under Pressure) were written by him. Well also I like Calling All Girls which was written by Roger
Entertainer Ev Well Under Pressure was written by all of them plus David Bowie, John just wrote the bass line
Don't forget 'I want to break free' John Deacon also wrote that...He is indeed genius

This is real rock'n'roll :D
This is crazily good :)
Yeah, Deacon is a genius :D
Dziku PL John claims he was raised on more Soul types of music, well, Mr. Deacon, the songs you wrote for Queen definitely have a lot of "Soul" in it, if you get what I mean.
One of the few really "hard rock" songs John made. And this is also one of my favourite by him!
Everyday you find a new favourite queen song 😂👍👏👏👏
why this kind of sad song can be sang in such happy way :(
Ricky Yuen it's a song about heartbreaker haha, yeah you're right
Because it's Queen!^^ lol
+Ricky Yuen I'm curious to know to who did he wrote this song...?
+Ricky Yuen The Supremes often smiled when they sang songs like "My World Is Empty without You" and "You Can't Hurry Love".
the quirks of humanity eh?
God bless John!
John Deacon and Freddie were the most important songwriters in Queen.
It's so underrated it's illegal
Miss those times so much
So last night I'm eating at Chuy's in Virginia and out of no where this song comes on. I'm a big Queen fan so I knew it was them and asked our waiter if he knew who sang it. He listened and smiled but could not place it. I told him it's Queen a famous British rock band. Most folks just don't know how varied Queen's music is. I've always loved Queen and I always will love Queen. Thank God for Queen! Makes me smile.
I was at a Sheetz up here in PA and Tear It Up came on over the radio in there. Really surprised me since it wasn't a single, but it was cool to see a deeper cut get some love.
@@MrFusion oh yes completely! I heard it too ... Tear It Up was also on a recent TV commercial.

Purely epic song composed by John...he absolutely a brilliant songwriter for Queen (along with 3 others of course).
We miss you John ❤
I truly love this one; John Deacon does it again. Also, I was born the year this song was recorded :D
Without a doubt one of queens most underrated songs
John you genius! And Roger's drumming!!!! And yeah Freddie's style of singing and can't forget Brian's tune!!! What a masterpiece!
Classic rock radio stations should be playing this song. HIT ME!
It's one of their best songs in my opinion, it has such a beautiful rhythm and melody, and the lyrics are good too!
yes i agree ×100! this has such an uplifting beat to it, and the guitar solo is good!
It wasn't 'punchy' enough for Queen fans, sounds almost like Bay City Rollers
1:16 when he says I'm too exhausted I thought he said "I threw a sausage"

One of best songs written by John!
I’ll never forget seeing a Queen tribute band and after “Now I’m Here”, they flawlessly transitioned into this underrated gem. Me and my mom were in the very back of the venue and were probably the only ones in the audience who knew this song and it just felt so good to hear love for the lesser known tracks!
From New Zealand I saw Freddie and Queen in 1986 hyde park London. Been fan over 45 yrs.
Happy birthday John Deacon!! this is my absolute favorite john deacon song!
I say this is my favourite track from The Game album from 1980.
I bought this album immediately when it first came out. When I put it on the turntable without looking at any of the credits I could already tell this was a John Deacon song. Without a doubt, he wrote the best feel-good songs for Queen!

The most rock-ish work by Deacon. I'm lovin' it!
I sure wish John Deacon hadn't retired... He was awesome!!!

What do we have to say?
Yes THANK YOU DEAKY FOR YOUR SONGS
Even in 2018 I never fully accepted Freddies death. Now that the film is here and the whole world will see his life story I am accepting it as fact. Having said that I am playing all of these old songs and I have tears in my eyes. Freddy was such a huge part of my own soundtrack growing up that it was impossible to imagine life without him.
And again a beautiful masterpiece of Deaky.🤘

So just about every Queen song that didn't make it on the charts or got gold/platinum is noted as the "most underrated Queen" song by people on CZcams. LOL. For this song, i definitely agree because i actually forgot it was a Queen song! How could I? This is one of those timeless, classic songs. :)
prob my favorite Queen song and now I know that Deacon wrote it lol.
John Deacon had a very similar writing style in terms of lyrics and music to Phil Lynott, listen to "Do Anything You Want To" or "Waiting For An Alibi" by Thin Lizzy and you'll see what I mean, they're the type of songs John would write for Queen.
Just heard this song last night at the gym for the first time in at least 3 and a half decades. Totally forgot this song and I wasn't even sure if it was Queen at first.
Same! I just heard this on Deep Tracks (Sirius Radio). I immediately remembered the song from over 30 years ago, then felt really stupid when I realized it was Queen!
My favorite track from The Game; I literally wore out the album listening to this one! Another John Deacon Classic!
Great Song! There is NO mistaking Brian May on guitar!
Edward Anthony Leone oh yeah, he is the one and only
The Game is a great album 👍👍👍
I love John's songs!!!
All Deacon's songs are my favorite. Love it!!
"Underneath the moonlight

Alan, I totally agree with you on this!! Keep on Rockin In The Free World!!
Nope that would go to Dragon Attack
This has always been my most favorite song on The Game! (And I'm of the age to have bought the album when it first came out!)

Every track on The Game is amazing
They should include this song in Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
I LOVED Queen they were the best of my generation ❤️
Loved this song back in the day... oh to be young again!!!
Best album ever
All guitars by John Deacon!
As soon as it finished, I instantly expected 'Crazy Little thing...' to start... I've listened to The Game far too many times, I guess.
Another great song written by John Deacon ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
John Deacon already caught my attention when I hear misfire in 1978, after I heard the millionaire waltz, freaked out with him, and proved to be one of the biggest in the world with the sail away sweet sister ending. I like to see the guys of the new generation enjoying his work here in the comments. John Deacon 4ever!!!!
Freddie wrote Millionaire Waltz and Brian wrote Sail away sweet sister but I do agree. John Deacon is one of the most underrated songwriters. Brian May said that “John didn’t write many songs but the ones he did were hits”.
one of the most underrated Queen song! love this jam!!!
I am thinking that I am going to stop after this one and this is my 20 songs from Queen for this morning. The problem is every morning like that. I have other things to do. I can’t listen to you all the time but can’t stop 😂.
Excelente!!!!! Con toda la fuerza de the game
Grande Queen !!!!! Buenos Aires es de Queen
It's so 80's!
They should've gave Deacon an ultimatum. Write an entire album of your amazing songs or you're fired. Lol! Okay, no firing. John Deacon is a master composer and he should've made way more songs than he did while in Queen.
