Absolutely. Geoff is Ace of Bass, Eli is Rock God, Layne, master of his craft, Ashley a voice like no other, and what can you say about Cesar? Sass personified? Thw quintessence of cuteness? Hard to find the right words. And I know a lot of words. Both Layne and Geoff make arrangements to blow the mind and give you goosebumps. And we know how Layne loves to challenge Geoff to go above and beyond what he thinks he can do. :) I do support both VP and Geoff but not at a level that gets me a mention. They deserve it so much.

I think Cesar especially is hard to catch in a few words, the awesome goes sooo deep! What I love most about him is his expression. I really *feel* what he sings.

Got to the love smirk on Layne's face just before Geoff's low note because he knew what Geoff was about to everyone the first time they saw this.
So, this was Ashley's first outing with the boys (thanks Cesar!), and was almost a last minute choice. Originally, they were working on a medley of In the Heights songs but then there was a bunch of controversy surrounding white people taking over the culture/songs of people of colour and so they scrambled to get this song together. Layne and Eli are both Jewish and Geoff states that he "has been an honorary Jew for 20 years" (because of their long running friendship)...they knew that it would be less controversial...

Again Layne took the chance to push Geoff... when he does this high note in the end squirming a little you can watch Layne in the background smirking a little... 🎉😂❤ Love them all and your reactions!

I still just love this one. The arrangement is so creative. It's like a banger you'd hear in the club. They keep the integrity of the song intact while somehow updating it and making it accessible to everyone. It's definitely a special talent and one of the many reasons I love VP so much!

If you're into narrations Geoff has some on his solo channel (varying in length going from a couple of minutes up to about an hour). Just be aware that people use them for relaxation and sleep, so you might want to get yourself extra cozy before hitting play 😊
I agree with you that this is awesome. It is underappreciated. LOVE the Geoff attitude and runs in this and of course Ashley is just incredible.
It’s a good thing that Layne is known for his quick arrangements. (Running up That Hill only took a couple days and he was moving Pattycake Studios while he was working on it.) in this case, they had another medley ready to go, then there was some controversy about the music and they decided to shelve it and do something completely different.
Layne just couldnt let Ashley show them all up, so he got geoff to do the run up then down like her 😂 and he sounded AH-MAZING. Loved your reaction as always 💜🦌 #DJantlers #DJsHerd
This was our first introduction to Ashley, Cesar, with the hat was 'channeling' "Boy George"......as Geoff was hitting his high note, zoom in on Layne.....since HE arranged it..notice his satisfied 'smirk', that Geoff not only did it, but HIT the note......>^^
I so fell in love with Ashley's voice when i heard this. I have to say this is one of my favorite VP productions, but aren't they all in their own ways. I'm always blown away by the way they used text painting, the runs, the trap section, the"eastern wall', it is just so much more than the sum of it's parts.
Thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play. Please please do a reaction video of Voice Plays cover. Peaches ( Bowser, Mario, Luigi, & Toad ). Geoff brings out his inner Rock God in this as well as his bass. Look out Eli, Geoff is coming for you lol. He will blow you away. At the end Peaches shows up, who is one of Layne's daughters. As you may know it is originally done by Jack Black.
I am not a gamer so I had to go watch the Jack Black version, but I love their video. It could be combined with the Minecraft mini and the Critical Role mini for a reaction.
Yeah, I did not expect Geoff to turn on the sex appeal for this song. LOL. And who saw Layne making the old musical song into a hip hop/dubstep piece? And NOBODY saw that flex from Ashley coming. This still stands as one of Voiceplay’s best Evers, even tho they have done some brilliant work since.

Layne has as smooth a voice singing as he does speaking. I was surprised by how calm he is in the Peter Barber interview. Maybe that's why the violin suits him so well.❤

Also I have forgotten A Crimpella that I saw last summer but last week, one of my people found it and I laughed so hard sitting there "What am I watching?" It needs to be seen.
One of the first musicals I ever heard and fell in love with, and they made me love it in a whole new way. This song was FIRE!!! I loved the look that Cesar gave her after her run. It was like "woah Girl"...and then the was that Geoff finished it was soo .....What in the world was that?!?

@@SPNQueen Thank you. Because they have the same last name they’re automatically married apparently. They met up when they were going to Full Sail University in Florida. People are jumping to conclusions again. I can’t imagine who I would be married to because my last name is really common.
