    I'm always so mesmerized watching you gelli print. These prints turned out so gorgeous. Can't wait to see how the frisket works. Would also love to see how you use your prints in projects! TFS

      Most of them are stencil I cut using silhouette cameo design or drew and cut by hand

  • @debbyepps

    Really beautiful prints. I love it all. I am especially interested in the circle stencil you used at about 2:53 into the video, right after your clean-up with the titan buff. Do you have the name of that stencil and where you got it? Thanks for the video by the way!

    • @debbyepps
      @debbyepps  Před 9 lety

      Chas Gauthier That stencil I cut using a file purchased, like most of my stencils, from silhouette on my cameo using plastic notebook dividers from dollar tree.

    Gonna have to try the paint through the stencil & then take it off to leave the design, type of technique. All i do now is press on a texture or leave a stencil & then get ghost prints etc

  • @cynthiatalbott-nelson7530

    Just now watching this, it's very fun. What is the blackout method?

    • @debbyepps
      @debbyepps  Před 7 lety +1

      Cynthia Talbott-Nelson I print several layers then cover plate in black, use a mask then add it to first print. I have several animals I have cut mask for, like elephant.

    I've noticed that I tend to like my clean up pages as much or more than some of the "good" prints.
    Where do you get most of you stencils?

    • @debbyepps
      @debbyepps  Před 9 lety +1

      poetspice I cut most of them myself using silhouette design studio on my cameo from plastic notebook dividers from dollar tree. I think clean up are usually my favorite pulls too.

    Hi, what is the material that you apply the paint to first.. is it plastic, something like that? Thanks

  • @TheKezmyster
    @TheKezmyster Před 8 lety

    Fabulous!
    What ink do you use? does it have to be a certain type/brand?
    is it acrylic or like linoblock ink?

    • @debbyepps
      @debbyepps  Před 8 lety +2

      none of these were inks. they were all done with acrylic paints either liquitex basics or craft paints

    Love the demo. But I could not get any sound. Maybe there is a glitch in my own computer. I will come back and watch again. I subscribed to your videos!

  • @ashphoenix5447

    I really enjoyed watching you print & I will try out your technique but I could only watch a few minutes because on the video I saw it kept moving in & out like the camera was falling. Unfortunately it made me really sea sick. Maybe it was my computer because I didn't get any sound either. I don't know if there was some kind of glitch or not. I'll subscribe & watch more because I love to watch geeli printing & see new techniques. I'll try the video in the future & maybe the glitch is worked out. Just an FYI. TFS your technique. The prints I did see came out fabulous!

    • @debbyepps
      @debbyepps  Před 7 lety

      Ashs Vision I don't know why the camera motion was so rough maybe enhanced by speed or cut. The light changed due to large window next to me in my old studio set up. Sorry but thanks for watching

      @ashphoenix5447 Před 7 lety +1

      I didn't realize until after I posted my comment that this was an older video. I was trying to let you know of a glitch if there was one. I'm not sure why older videos are now showing up in my feed but I'm glad I saw this. I like what you did. Thanks for replying. I'll be checking out other videos on your channel.

    Saludos desde Villahermosa, en el sureste de México!! Una pregunta, la placa en la que esparce la pintura, de qué material es y cómo se compra...!!

    • @debbyepps
      @debbyepps  Před 5 lety +1

      I used a Gelli Art or Gel Press plate to print using craft paint, a Speedball brayer and stencils from art or craft store.

    too fast, difficult to watch

    • @carrie7209
      @carrie7209 Před 5 lety

      You can change the playback speed - quarter speed worked for me.

    • @awsmnss25
      @awsmnss25 Před 5 lety

      I don't know about the speed. But, the way the camera was moving really messex with my eyes and I had to stop watching. It would zoom in then out quickly, and then seem to vibrate like the table was shaking. 😟
