U are not late just u need to work hard .My first advise is just do step by step bc it could be hard to go to advance and you are not late .U could do ballet at any age .Work hard ,strech and do ballet steps everyday😊

I'm 20 years old and I'm starting ballet after the summer in an adult beginners class. Your videos really help me a lot with getting the basics right so I can (hopefully) kind of keep up with the other dancers!

@@2104S It's going pretty good! At this point it's starting to feel more like dancing and less like learning and trying to do the steps. I started two more ballet classes at another dance school a few months ago. Learning from multiple teachers has been really helpful because their dance styles and ways of teaching are very different, which means you don't get too comfortable with one speed or with your technique. I'm starting a Pointe class next year as well!

I just switched ballet schools and my last one didn't really teach me ballet as much we did 90% idk what dance style was even that and 10% ballet now I switched to a school which is 90% ballet and I was struggling your videos help me get better and my teacher is proud of me, thank you.

On one of the jumps you said you have to be in fifth position, but I like doing it in third much better. It feels more natural to me, and I still haven't mastered fifth position.

Hi,Auti! I don't think there are any dance classes where I live. Is it okay to start learning online? Will it work?
My advice is to definitely use your resources! If you decide to do it online, make sure that you follow through! Just keep practicing and make a schedule for yourself!
Yes, if you do learn online make sure to workout every once in a while to build more strength
I just started taking Adult beginner Ballet .. it’s hard .. but I’ve been practicing.. but I have a little bit of Arthritis in my kneee .. I starred jumping last Saturday .. little jumps in the class it was incredibly difficult for me .. It was to hard for me .. lol does it get better . I’m taking my second Bevinner class this Saturday. Should I tell my teacher that it was difficult for me ? I don’t know what to do my knee is still sore should I tell her ? I love your videos . Would you be able to have a beginner Bar workout . Hey Auti! (Or anyone else that can help me). Are there any stretches/exercises I can do to help my pliés? I'm a stiff, unfit beginner and doing pliés is quite sore and uncomfortable. My knees and ankles hurt. What can I do to loosen up and get them stronger?
When we do jumping in class we always have our arms in first och second, but I tend to look so awkward eventhough they look okay when we're at the bar. Does anyone have any tips to improve that?
