    Thank you for the great information on where to start this great hike. I’ll be there this beginning of October and wasn’t sure if there was a way up, besides the gondolas. I’m like you, I don’t like all that technology and am glad there is a perfect trail to the top!! Thank you for your great video !!

      Thanks for leaving the comment! Glad it was helpful to you. Yes, there is a nice trail climbing up, with no difficulty at all, mostly feels like walking in the forest and open fields. Enjoy it!

    Thanks for the hiking video. It was well done. It has been 15 years since I've been to Italy. What a beautiful country. I currently film mountaineering/hiking videos in Colorado. Keep up the great content!

      Thank you for commenting! Glad to know that you enjoyed it:) Yes, Italy is a country that has it all, we truly think that and definitely have to visit it again as it clearly needs more time to be explored. It is amazing, we would love to watch your hiking videos too and be friends:)

      @@WannabeAlpinist That's amazing! We spent a little more than 2 months there, we did a part of Via Francigena in Tuscany and it holds a special place in our hearts.

    Very informative. The best part for me was the last part, watching the horses running wild. Are there any similar mountain places in the dolomites as easy to walk as this one but not too much touristic?

      Thanks a lot for the comment! We loved that hike too and would love to explore more of Dolomites in the future. You can find the hikes we did on Dolomites on the channel and see if you like any of them, we didn't explore a lot of not popular touristic places that time but did couple of hikes in Val Venosta, South Tyrol for example that we loved, but this is just the Alps not Dolomites specifically. For example this one: czcams.com/video/1ahxmfUdywQ/video.html

    Thanks for kindly share your amazing experience. It takes 3 hours to the Seceda TOP? I'm planing to let my car in Cristauta parking, how long do you think that takes from here? Thanks

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  Před rokem

      Thank you for the comment! Because we started at Selva de Valgardena, lower point than you want to start from and also because we were filming it took us 3 hours. We think you can manage it in 2 hours or less in your case. Hope it helps.

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  Před rokem

      Thanks a lot! Yes, but you will need the good boots to get there to the top and some sticks to rely on as there can be snow at this season.

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks a lot! No, we were hiking there in September and enjoyed the nice weather. There may be snow in April there. There are quite a lot of car roads getting pretty close to any hike and we think you can get to Selva Cristina de Val Gardena and park in several kilometers from the mountain.

    Sorry if you guys felt like it was too touristy. I prefer an area with less people and cable cars too. The views were still spectacular on the trail! 😍👍💪 Are there any areas in Europe that you love that isn't touristy? Subscribed to follow your adventures (#893). I hope our channels grow together. 🔥

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  Před 4 lety

      Yeah we always strive for more wilderness even though it was expected to be a popular spot. We enjoyed the panoramic views a lot though. We feel like Pyrenees mountains where we live now is a perfect alternative where you can take many beautiful trails and the places are not crowded at all. And we haven't explored all of the region yet. Also we are sure that even in Dolomites there are plenty off the beaten paths, you just have to search for them a bit harder. Thanks for the support, we love to meet the like minded people and your channel looks interesting too. Let's be friends!:)

      @@WalkingNatureWorld You are right. Unfortunately coming from abroad you risk to see only the most famous places, that are famous because they were really incredibly beautiful, but not anymore... I had to stop visiting them because to see such a ruin hurts me too much... But the Dolomites are very big, there are hundreds of mountains, and since you are excellent and well trained hikers, just skip the most popular sites and explore the other. That are equally beautiful but still wild. You have to discover them, because nobody will easily suggest you where to go. But just look at a map, and you can identify your ideal destination. And you will find small villages, still real and not touristic. And real mountains, where you can find the real nature and the real challenge. But keep them to yourself, unfortunately these social media have produced monstrosities.... Congratulations for your passion, for your videos and for your enthusiasm!

      @@arcibaldo59 Thanks a lot for your comment and an important message! That is so true what you are saying, we felt like we need to visit those places on our first time and then will be happy to discover new trails. Also we love to explore and this way we were able to find some real jewels that are not popular at all. So we are very excited to do that on our next time in Dolomites. There is always a risk though when sharing such place that it will become eventually popular, but well we always encourage people to discover their own places too and our videos serving more as an inspiration to get out and go exploring. Happy to know you enjoy our work! Thanks again:)

    Cannot understand why didn't you leave your backpacks in the camping?

    • @WalkingNatureWorld

      haha, well we could get away with just using one 20l backpack or two smaller ones for just carrying some food and water. But we left most of the stuff and weight in the camping so it wasn't bad:)
