5 nights at freddy?
It’s actually explained in the first game that if the company turns the animatronics off for too long, their servos lock up, and that’s why they don’t turn the characters off at night.

I think that’s more of an explanation as to why the animatronics move at this time (cause they’re possessed). In FNAF 2, they talk about how the animatronics are suddenly hunting down the night guard and have “theories” as to why they’re roaming. They probably have this as an explanation to assure the night guards because it would be weird to be like “Hey, the animatronics are haunted by children who were killed by an employee and will try to kill you now.”

The thing that was hanging from the ceiling is called mangle, she’s a mess of different parts since kids played with her too much and broke her. She was put together but not correctly so that’s why she looks like that. At least that’s what the lore said I’m pretty sure.

"That thing in the ceiling" is Mangle, a butchered Foxy animatronic from the Funtime/Toy series of animatronics. There's actually a whole hell of a lot of lore to the FNAF franchise (there's even a book series) that GameTheory has done a TON of videos on.

hey Kyle, couple of things: one: the black freddy is called Nightmare Freddy, and he's exactly what the name sounds like. two: it's said that there's gonna be a live-action Five Nights at Freddy's movie, though i don't know if this is true or if it's coming out. 3: i'm gonna practice like hell to upload animations on my youtube channel, so i'd appreciate it alot if you react to them in the future. :)

Ahh i see your slowly reeling yourself back in the series, this pleases me, now to explain some questions you have
6:04 that is The Balloon Boy, he steals your flashlight battery if he gets in, therfore making you unable to deal with Old Foxy
6:55 that is Mangle, AKA the new foxy... but kids cant keep their hands to themselves
7:42 meet Golden Freddy, aka the most mysterious character in the series
7:52 yes, and if the titled didnt clue you in and already spoiled the twist... its a prequel
8:42 meet Springtrap, he has a twist that i can only explain when you play the third game eventually, but essential the suit itself is bassically Golden Bonnie
9:08 this freddy and any other animatronic that isnt springtrap in the third game is just a phantom, they dont kill you but they jumpscare and stun you
10:45 that game would be FNAF 4, which is actually a personal favorite of mine cause its terrifying, also, there are doors, just play games for video soon

The FNAF 2 game takes in the past with more animatronics. The player uses a freddy mask to trick their facial scanners.
FNAF 3 takes place in a future haunted attraction where the player defends himself against the actual killer, trapped inside a spring-lock suit, hence the nickname ‘springtrap’
FNAF 4 takes place in the killer’s kid’s room where it’s heavily implied (in scott’s books. Yes. Books.) that the killer somehow made devices to generate hallucinations to scare his child away from his hunting ground. (He failed btw. The child got his skull crushed by a malfunctioning animatronic)
FNAF 5 and 6 reveals that the child was *rebuilt as a robot* and he decided to hunt down his father by teaming up with the father’s former business partner and burning all of them in a massive fire at a fake restaurant.
I don’t think I can even make any of this up.
If you want to make some sort of sense of this or understand even less you can watch the *50+* theory series by GameTheory where he goes down the rabbit hole over the course of 7 years.

Funny how they thought that Fnaf was dead back then and Fnaf is still alive up until now with over 10 games and almost 20 books and a movie being made.
The thing in the ceiling was the Mangle, my personal favorite animatronic in the franchise. The little Freddies on the bed are called Freddles. Also, if you end up playing scary VR games, I'd recommend the FNAF VR: Help Wanted game.
Well fnaf 4 explanation is that it isn't your house, just an experimenting place with animatronics that make you hallucinate to see them more nightmari-ish.

The thing in the ceiling was a foxy variant called the mangle.
In fnaf 2, there were no doors an the player had to protect themselves, with a Freddy head, in an fully exposed area as various animatronics roamed freely.
If the mangle became active, and crawled to the ceiling, it would make make a lot of loud, grating cb radio junk noises to attract the other robots, but it would also do its game ending jump scare completely at random.

This is a great series, I recommend all the piemations animations if possible, especially suction cub man if you haven't already (though if I remember correctly you already have but I'm an infrequent lurker here so I don't know for sure)
To give context, springtrap is actually William Afton, A.K.A. the purple guy, the main antagonist of the franchise. The thing he does? KILLING CHILDREN! In five nights at Freddy's 3, if you play audio while viewing A room springtrap isn't IN, he will think a child is in the building, and will rush off to that room to find it, he wants to find it so he can kill it, not to throw A birthday party for it, he only said that to trick Freddy into helping him. In other words, William/springtrap follows the sounds of children. The security guy wasn't HIDING anything, he was just trying to trick springtrap so he could get him away from the office. It's kind of like the spare Freddy head in five nights at Freddy's 2, where (everyone but foxy) will just pass on by as they think you're Freddy, when in reality, you're just the night guard fooling the animatronics so they can leave you alone.

In the 2nd game Foxy and the Puppet are the only ones that can see through the mask, because they have no facial scanner

Game series isn’t really dead, FNAF World was a cutesy role playing game that even Scott Cawthon says he’s embarrassed of making. Game is still going pretty strong especially with FNAF Security Breach. Maybe you can react to the Game Theory videos but they come out in time with the release of the games so the first one is extremely different compared to how the recent video is 7 games later.

I think he should start with the foot of a ferret recap to know the best summary of events, then go through the game theory’s best hits sort of. Like the ones that hold up or were iconic. Like there’s 50 fucking videos I think. They’re like on average 10-15 minutes that’s hours of madnes that’s not even all correct.

You should definitely react to Random Encounters's FNAF musicals. I really recommend them and there are many guest CZcamsrs that are known for there FNAF content like "Markiplier" and "NateWantsToBattle" for they're gameplay and even MatPat from game theory, which I know his content gets recommended a lot to you.

Let me explain what’s going on so Fnaf 2 foxy is the only one who can see through the freddy mask and Fnaf 3 springtrap is purple guy and used to kill children and the recolored animatronics are phantoms and springtrap thinks it’s a kid and is attracted to it to kill it or the suit he died in is programmed to go towards kids sounds and Fnaf 4 Your im a coma that got bit by an animatronic and the animatronics followed you home behind you and try to kill yoi so you have to keep them out of your room and the three Freddy’s are nightmare nightmare fredbear and nightmare freddy fredbear is the orange on and the black one is nightmare and u already know who freddy is and Bonnie and the mini Freddy’s are called Freddie’s and the come onto your bed to try to summon nightmare Freddy so if you give them time when you turn around you’ll get jumpscared by freddy
