    I just started playing warhammer and grey knights is my first army. I’ve played maybe 10 games at 1k points. My first win was against thousand sons and Draigo bombed down and did 15 mortal wounds to Magnus 😂 he has been my MVP in every game I’ve played. I don’t think I’ll play a game using grey knights without him. He’s my auto include.

    Does the grandmaster ignore the save modifier from death guard? My understanding is grandmaster ignore all modifiers to characteristic ie the save characteristic on the data sheet. But can not ignore modifiers to the saving throw ie the ap that modifies the dice roll. Do you have a clear answer on this one? Cheers

      @@adamwallis9416 I've been playing admech since the slate but having gotten a few reps in with the new secret missions and bonus mission rules, I'm actually leaning back into gks. With the mission special rules favoring battleline, coupled with secret missions being very achievable with our access to uppy downy and good battleline units, swinging a game in your favor is even more achievable. This is what I'm looking at now. This is not play tested but I imagine this is probably the list I'll be running until things change. You could argue for a third DK to cover the shooting we lost but losing tank shock makes it hard to justify DK spam.

    • @davidcoren237
      @davidcoren237 Před 20 dny +1

      @@adamwallis9416 I don't think rhinos are worth it. A big part of a rhinos purpose is to keep infantry safe specifically from melee armies and for the extra movement from disembarking. Using your movement and hiding your units and uppy downy properly makes rhinos redundant. The eversor covers turn 1/2 actions and having the libbies with terminators helps you do some actions while still doing a bit of damage.
