I wore a kilt as a 370lbs thru hiker on the 800 mile Arizona National Scenic Trail in the high summer... Single best equipment decision I made and here is why! www.moderndayju... www.mountainhar... www.purplerains...
on a holiday in Scotland this year, 2016, I wore a kilt continuously (i have three) and although a couple of english men questioned me, and one tried but failed to humiliate me, most people applauded me. I had Scottish females , whom I never met before, telling me how much they love to see a man in a kilt. So if you want to pull, wear a kilt, lol !
Thank you for making this video. Your logical, straightforward approach has convinced me that kilts are indeed a practical alternative and not just a fad.
I love to wear a kilt because they are practical and comfortable (very easy to go to the bathroom in) and as someone who likes to be a little different, a kilt is a great way to do so. Downside: I need to think about how I sit when I get into a car or on a chair in a public place, etc
Everyone has the right to wear whatever they want, you might get a few strange looks but who cares? If they don't like what you wear or judge you for it then that's their problem, wear whatever you like! If it feels comfortable then go for it!
David B. Finlayson It sounds as if he's apologising for wearing a kilt. Never apologise for wearing a kilt. There are people around who wear them all the time known as kilties.
I've found that few people say anything to me, but I know they see, and I know they are wondering. Most ignore it, which I find odd because a kilt is rather unusual in the US. I'm wondering, what's the deal?
Great video. I enjoy seeing other kilters. I don't feel so alone and awkward. But seeing other functions in a kilt, besides weddings and royalty things. Thank you.
I'm surprised that you don't experience chafing. As a woman who also has a "negative thigh gap," I can get major thigh chafing in the summer when wearing skirts if I'm not careful.
When somebody asks you why are you wearing a kilt tell them because ICan! You can go traditional that means without underwear or with underwear there are no rules, in the Scottish military they do not wear underwear simply to avoid odor and it is considered more sanitary hence that makes a lot of sense if anyone asks you what are you wearing underneath tell them I do not ask you what you are wearing underneath your clothes, check out these personal trainers called The Kilted coaches,👊👊
Simon P hi Simon happy New Year this is Eric wishing you the best and always really liked your name because that was my grandfather's name and his last name started with a p what a coincidence but enjoy your kilt and just go ahead and do what you need to do for you don't worry what anybody else thinks or says you don't have to be Scottish or Irish to wear a kilt they look great on any person by the way it's one degree here in Waukegan Illinois 35 miles close to Chicago happy belated holiday
