So I kinda surprised I got Homa even though I'm a dolphin (only buy BP).
if only the weapon banner epitomised path pity could be transferable that'd be perfect, i spent all my primos for childe so i didn't have any left for homa/elegy banner and after two weeks of grinding i finally got enough for a 5*, only to get bamboozled by elegy 😭

this is so funny, but I could see how you got confused. The burst (I think is what it's called) makes the weapon look weirdly similar. I used to think the weapon it got converted to was going to be the one on the banner.

It's funny how most of my 5 star weapons actually came from the standard banner rather than the weapon banner.

I was a F2P before Itto's banner, lost my 50/50 to get him and got him guaranteed at soft pity, threw the rest of my primos at weapon banner only to get to 2/2 epitomized path. Ended up dropping $80 a few days ago to hit soft pity again and finally get guaranteed Redhorn...I got skyward harp and R2 amos bow too
I was exactly the same though.. Lost twice then had to drop 70 bucks to get the guaranteed red horn

My soul hurt rn. I lost the two 50/50s on itto weapon as a f2p. I can now say without a doubt I know what it's like to be depressed, feel hopeless and lose faith in weapon banners. The 88 crit dmg would be nice but I have like no pity. True pain T^T

I wanted the skyward harp but instead I got redhorn I got so depressed didn't knew which character is good with that weapon besides itto then I decided to pull on New Year and I got Itto on my first 40 pull. Man I'm so happy right now it was my 50/50.
I hope you guys can move on to these kind of things. Remember it's a gacha game. Don't worry too much about things you can't control. Anyways I wish you guys a Happy new year and take care of your mental health!
I didn't want Itto but I was wishing on the banner to build pity. Bad mistake I tell you, i had a guarantee. You make one wish and now I have a character that I don't have the materials for and now I have to build more pity T^T

I spent 150 pulls to get redhorn after losing soft pity 2 times...
I had such good luck on these banners. I’m f2p so I was saving up for Itto ever since I lost the 50/50 on raiden’s banner so I had him guaranteed. I saved up 150~ wishes in total. I used 67 to build pity on the weapon banner and I had 83 ready for Itto’s. I ended up getting Itto at soft pity, then redhorn in a single pull, then C1 Itto 18 wishes later. It took a lot of willpower not to wish for 4 months but it was the best rng of my genshin life

I have never wished on the weapon banner because i'm a f2p which kinda suck because some weapons are good. Other than that i wanna say Happy New Year everyone :D
My experience: Homa , Broken Pines and Lightning were successful. All on first try . Trying to get Kazuha weapon. Got a 3rd Amos instead.
Worse was Childe’s weapon . That one make me spend money. $200 and got 2 weapons before the one I wanted .

That was still pretty good. 3 really good 5* weapons in 141 rolls. The soft pity is 66 in weapon banner, so normally it should take 196 rolls to get 3 5*. That's 55 rolls saved.

Got Engulfing Lightning and Song of Broken Pines on the first try. I did have to go very close to hard pity for them, but I am probably going to not roll on the weapon banner unless something insane comes out or Homa comes back (Xiao and Zhongli main)

I expect to fail twice 100% of the time on the weapon banner. Never trust it either fully commit or don't pull ever is my motto lol. Grats i felt the same way with jade cutter i got lucky because i had no hope and not enough time unless i wanted to use money.

ive had really good luck with the weapon banner. every time theres a character that i really like, i get their weapon immediately. happened with both kazuha and itto, got both of their weapons in 20 pulls. for hu tao, i didnt get homa but i did get skyward spine so im not complaining about that either. other than that, complete scam and i never roll on it.
I'm f2p and the only two times I've ever wished on the weapon banner were for Yoimiya's bow and Itto's claymore which I both pulled Very early in an honestly astonishing stream of luck.
Had to will myself not to pull Yelan's bow because I felt I had already finished my luck pulling her 30 wishes after Ayato. So now Yoimiya and Yelan have to share, in good f2p fashion.

not a scam, it's stated clearly there how much summons we need to do before obtaining the weapon.
the ARTIFACT DOMAINS is the main scam. especially the new geo artifact domains. you could play 10 years and only to realize your whole team turned into kokomi

Got the Moonglow instead of the Jade Cutter, got the Elegy instead of the Homa
Chose the Skyward Harp on Ittos banner and got Redhorn on my first pull! XD

Life hack: if you want a 5-star weapon choose the path for the other weapon so Mihoyo think you want the skyward harp instead of the red horn and will give you the weapon you wanted. (Totally real)
I tried that and actually got the Skyward Harp lol. But my Childe was happy anyway. Only pull on weapon banner if you are alright with both weapons.

I got Redhorn at 20 pity, it was really random like I thought I'd do one single pull for fun and then I got it, I basically screamed, jumped and flexed on all of my friends who doesn't have it
Just choose skyward bow so that you can reverse psychology to pull redhorn, so stop saying that the weapon banner is very bad.
You can't reverse psychology the weapon banner, all you'll do this way is risk pulling a Tectone and never getting the weapon you're actually after.

Why? Because some people didn't go where fortune lucks are and founding location before pulling it so... No wonder why i was the only one who notice the reason for everyone to be angry at the weapon banner.

You can't reverse psychology a computer, and the rates of getting a specific weapon stay exactly the same regardless of what you pick in Epitomized Path. If there was some such bias, it would be mentioned somewhere, because Mihoyo is legally obligated to provide accurate information regarding gacha drop rates.

Just a while ago, i decided(tempted) to do 10 pull for the 1st time on a weapon banner, intensely hoping for the bow to come home. I lost to skyward blade :'> but it couldve been worse like not getting any 5*, im not happy but im grateful. I stopped at that and im not touching it again
