@ashercollins-cf5by I thought thr same thing but it makes sense thr more I thought about it. They shadow dropped a SNK vs Capcom chaos remaster and so it was more important to market that and not distract from that for sales sake
IIRC the last Fighting Collection didn't have a release date. It just dropped when it dropped.

This is one of those rare games that I’ll be buying twice. Once on Steam and Physically on Switch.
I'm buying it on all three platforms. Already have my Switch physical pre order locked in and I'm for sure jumping on a PS4 and Steam copy. This is the time to put money where the mouth is

The Switch has been a healthy haven for titles that were on OG Xbox.
aside of MSH, MVC1 and 2, the rest od the games are not on the xbox

He’s someone who has been in the fighting game scene for 30 years, has collaborated with Capcom and initiated a Twitter campaign a few years ago for Capcom to port the MvC games- a game that most of the video game community has already accepted we would never see again. So his reaction was both justified and great to see.

Due to CZcams's video compression, CRT filters will never look as great on video as on the screen itself, especially at 1080p.
For future gameplay-focused videos, be it on this or other games and collections, best disable them for all the sections that don't talk about them. =)

I still adore MVC Origins and MVC2 on PS3, I always play UMVC3 on PS4 too. Happy XM:COA and XMVSF are being ported. Hopefully they port UMVC3 on Switch.

Capcom's website mentions a European physical release if you switch to en-uk with the pegi rating if you scroll down.
@@jackmorgan3826 A PEGI rating doesn’t guarantee a physical release. I’d rather hear it from the mouth of someone at Capcom so it’s at least somewhat believable.
@Tim-007 Capcom's website says it if you switch it to EN-UK I am not it making up honest if you scroll down it says Digital/Physical with the Pegi Rating below it's the Same Result in the EN-US Section of the Website it has the ESRB it's just type Marvel vs Capcom on Google and their Website should be the top result I would link it but CZcams would delete my comment probably will delete this one even without any linking.
Game in the UK has it on Pre Order on their website. don't worry about the Reports coming out about them. They aren't stopping Physical Releases they are stopping in store pre orders but not online pre orders.
I'm looking forward to getting Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection for PlayStation 4 when it comes out. I will probably be playing that for like hours.
Keep in mind the CRT filter is different, when changed later on the video that is the CRT consumer filter the earlier ones were from the arcades AFAIK
Is there a better portable arcade than The Nintendo Switch? Maybe but I love my Switch! lol This collection is a dream come true! I bought the Arcade1Up just to play MvC2! Plus I got tired of how many tries it takes my PS2 to play the blue disc. 😅 I’m getting this for my self (physical/digital) and for my two sons thier own copy (physical) for XMas. This will become the most well preserved game as a reflex to how difficult it was to obtain previously. The future of fighting games is once again looking bright! Now can we get an MK Kollection on Switch? MK Trilogy to the N64 app would be wonderful!

I played these games on marvel Vs capcom 2 arcade 1 up if your a big fan of these games you would of bought the arcade 1 up marvel Vs capcom 2 the difference no achievements no trophies you can still play online with the arcade 1 up in my house I can wait 2 years for this capcom collection to get released
Or you can play this on pc with emulators heck i have all cps 1,2,3 games and dreamcast fighting games on my rg35xx+ online suck anyways either youll match up with a pro or a pussy rage quiter

Marvel Vs capcom It’s been back on arcade 1 up since 2020 then they released marvel Vs capcom 2 in 2022 it’s still in stock go buy one if you really love it that much I bought them all I’ll be buying the switch and PS4 when they release I can wait cause I own the arcade 1 up
A lot of people complaining about the Punisher game,.but that one of the main reasons i want to buy it, i love The Punisher he's so cool, hope your fighting Kingpin and Bulleyes and Jigsaw in the game.

One question, in MVC 1 are the “secret” characters selectable? Orange Hulk, Red Venom, Lilith etc, I know Roll is playable but nobody has confirmed yet if the others are available.
Every secret character is selectable. On the website they say that there's a menu toggle for enabling characters like Akuma in CotA, Anita, Dr. Doom and Thanos in Marvel Super Heroes, Cyber Akuma in MSH vs. SF and all the secret characters in MvC1 like Gold War Machine, Hyper Venom etc.
Also for CotA they're letting you play as Magneto and Juggernaut which is a first for that game because they're usually boss characters only

I waa going to ask if the Japanese version of MSH vs. SF included Norimaro, but doing a search it looks like people think he's been deleted from even that version.
Norimaro being based on a real person would likely mean additional licensing costs for an actor/comedians likeness they don't want to pay especially after already having to pay the existing fees for character licenses. Him also being JP-exclusive made cutting him a way easier decision too
Five reasons why he is no longer in the game:
1. The dude is based on a real person.
2. He's not own by Capcom or Marvel or Disney.
3. Marvel and its fanbase doesn't really like the character.
4. Capcom and its fanbase doesn't like the character either.
5. The guys who use to like the character no longer works at Capcom and Marvel.

Marvel was always here tell me a console that didn’t get marvel Vs capcom it all started with the PS1 then the PS2 marvel Vs capcom 2 then PS3 got a digital copy now it’s PS4 turn to get these games give it time with the PS6 is here they will release you a PS5 marvel Vs capcom only the true marvel favs bought everyone for every console and including the arcade 1 up you can finally put your headsets on while playing it’s worth it it helps me wait for the marvel Vs capcom collection the only difference is no trophies 🏆

Hey, I have a question regarding this compilation but just in case when you were playing MvC2 in the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection by chance there was the option to deactivate the time from 99 seconds to none in case I want to play MvC2 but for hours and everything I want and not just for 99 seconds only?
The sprites of these games is godly & unmatched

Oooooh 3x Punches and 3x Kicks was missing from Street Fighter collection, can't remember if it was in Capcom Fighting Collection but it definitely needs to be included in MvC Fighting Collection.
Not sure why you really need 3 punches or 3 kicks, a lot of these MARVEL Capcom games only use 2 punches or 2 kicks for super combos. As for the Street Fighter collection, only Street Fighter Alpha 2 fully used it, the rest plays fine without it. Alpha 3 also used it as well but using 3 punches or 3 kicks in that game works the same as using strong punch and strong kick unlike in Alpha 2. Even Zangief doesn't use 3 punches or 3 kicks, you use 2 punches he spins one lariat clothesline, if you use 2 kicks he spins 2 lariat clotheslines, that's it.
@@VOAN X-Men vs Street Fighter uses 3 punches and kicks for supers, so it would be nice to have. Why would anyone be against more customisation is beyond me

Can't wait! Though ugh, those fake scanlines... I never got the idea that adding them to the picture on my flatscreen TV would make it feel like I'm playing on my old CRT TVs, it always just looks like what it is: a distracting filter being put over the graphics. Anyway, it's an optional thing so that wasn't a complaint obviously, just thought I'd get that out there.
It'll look way better when actually playing it. It never looks good when watching a CZcams video.
1:11 Wrong already! These are NOT ports. These are mere ROMs running on emulator, and required little to no effort on R&D. A "port" of a game is the use of assets from the said game in original format and rebuild it from the ground up & optimized to be run on a different hardware. If the hardware is more powerful than original hardware in any way shape or form, visual & audio enhancements as well as new content are added. Marvel vs. Capcom Collection does NOT fit the definition of "port." Get it right!
Has anyone been able to connect 2 fightsticks at the same time? I've tried all the USB ports on the dock and a separate USB Hub, but I can't get 2 fightsticks to work at the same time. Any help would be appreciated...

When you say "secret characters", do you mean all the unlockable fighters you could buy with points in MVC2? I really hope so. I'm one of those "weirdos" that loves unlocking through playing lol. I was so disappointed when I bought it for PS3 and everyone was available from the start
Nah these are the arcade versions not the PS2 or Dreamcast versions. The original arcade release would time release them but most People wanna pick their favourites and actually play the game so they are all unlocked from the start. Thank god. Grinding arcade mode just to unlock your favourite characters would suck

Marvel vs Capcom 2 is the greatest game Capcom 's created. Yes, better than all the Street Fighters period. I would rather own this, than any other fighting game collection.

why buy it just emulate it
Emulating arcade games is not as simple as emulating console games.
So, having a collection simplifies that and even lowers the value of older console versions of said games.
Of course, there’s also Fightcade.
