When in need of healing, I’m told to use my authority, but on the other hand, I have heard that if not working for you to just rest in God and stop trying. What are your thoughts on that?
Resting in the accomplished works of God does not mean to stop trying. 😅It was really never trying. It is having an assurance that the word of God will prevail ultimately. So you keep confessing that you are healed because Christ did it. And your heart is quiet and resting because you believe what you are confessing. It was never about your efforts. So it’s not about no longer trying. It’s always about resting in the accomplished works of Christ. And insisting on it and never giving up.
Yes, Joy is right. When I had new symptoms of cancer, I fought it fiercely saying, devil you get out. Who are you to touch my body? Out in Jesus name. I was confident and won. But when I developed liver inflammation and high cholesterol it was because of disappointment because of my husband and family situations. It was a gradual process and i didn't notice the devils entry. That was harder. But claiming various promises and praying along with various evangelists, I got rid of it as last though I don't know when. I got a normal report finally. Praise the Lord. The secret is, as sister says, to be confident of God's love for us and of his victory
