Stocks holding should be also in context to amount available to invest. How can someone afford to have so many stocks in 2 lakhs capital.
Being Retailer having 25stocks we wont even have time to analyse the balance sheet.
I guess this wouldn’t be right according my view.
What i do is as below.
5-10 stocks which 75% in large & 15% in mid & 10% in small cap is generally safer than keeping 25stocks
Holding 28 stocks -- out of which 55 % are large cap , 30 % mid cap and 15% small cap .
Your own portfolio is having 70 stocks. I think 15-20 is the ideal number tk manage your risk. Not more than 20.

But as of now, I managed to reduce it to 65 only, couldn't select 35 out of these 65, but planning to move some of the penny stocks to diff broker, so that I will set some target price and leave it , don't need to observe it daily, rather I could see that penny folio once in a week or fortnightly..

That's not true I have 45 stocks which makes it less risky and diversified into all sectors with decent returns.

Ditto. I also have nearly 100 stocks. I tryto reduce but all of them are good. I don't look at stock specific returns. Instead i look for returns on my portfolio. I aim to make a certain amount of green every single day. Roughly i want to get upto 2 to 3 percent in a month.
