you need exactly the same amount of memory to lip as to sing. she lips because of the amount of performances she gives, if they were all live she would have no voice left at all. its promo, and saving her voice, pure and simple.
Her hand and body movement was very aggressive when she hit the E5 notes(climax) but this is only happen in live performance in US. In this video she is not that aggressive when hitting the climax notes.. Therefore, we can compare when she lip and sang live..
You know why she lip-syncs sometimes except her concerts? It's because on every tv shows, guestings, performances or wherever she would be it would be alot cheaper for the network to pay but of course she would prefer live but sometimes she'll have lip-sync, just depends on the situation.

Most starts lip overseas. They can;t understand if she is singing live or not because they can't understand English too well. Can you tell if a Japanese singer was singing live based on the way she says the words? Not unless you speak Japanese and listen to the song faithfully.
