A ton of options, exactly what the industry needs. That said I am running the Yakima Aerobars on the Skyline Towers. It runs everything I put on top of my truck topper (ARE), with one exception. When camping I want to be able to access the back of my pickup truck bed, meaning that will be my sleep area. The issue I have encountered is mounting the awning to the back of my truck. I travel with the awning attached to the side and use it there, but want the option to mount it on the back of the truck (stationary only - not traveling with it across the back). I am running the ARB 2500 x 2500, Touring Aluminum Housed Awning with Deluxe Awning Room. Since I have the Yakima rails and skyline towers already installed, and using the aerobar crossbars, what bracket system would you have to mount my awning on the side for travel, and be able to use my ARB Quick disconnect brackets to move the awning to rear of the truck for mounting and use while camping and fishing for several days or use at the beach, etc.?

hi there, thanks for watching! Easiest way to solve this would be to replace those Aero Bars with some simple extrusion cross bars... www.gamiviti.com/cross-bars that would allow you to run our rack receivers on the side using the adapter plates, and run another set of rack receivers across the back, bolted sideways. Your awning would then be able to mount in either location. it might also be possible to drill through those aero bars to add the backing plates, and/or rack receivers, then bolt them through what you already have.
