This pool is much bigger compared to our 15ft and I feel like we have a lot more room to swim around and we can all be on our floats and not be right up on each other so I love that!

Sure
1. I use the Clorox pools testing strips to see where my levels are in my pool. Usually the PH is kind of high so I would add Clorox pool brand PH down to lower my PH
* once the ph is down you don’t need to add anymore ph down ( next week) unless the levels get high again
2. I add chlorine to my pool. We use HTH chlorinating granules and we add a 8oz scoop
3. Anywhere from 4-12 hrs later ( according to the bottle) we add shock to our pool. We personally use either Clorox brand shock or HTH, whatever we have on hand. We add a half of a pack to the water and kinda brush it around so it doesn’t sit on the bottle and stain the liner
4. It’s usually day 2 by this point and that is when we add either Clorox or HTH brand algaecide or algae guard
This is everything we add to our pool on a weekly basis. I also have a detailed video explaining everything we use and how we measure etc on my channel.

* extra. If our pool ever gets cloudy for whatever reason we use HTH brand super clarifier and it does a great job of clearing cloudy water fast!

My dad ordered a pool for us and since our backyard isn't as leveled, I had to spend about a week total getting grass off the spot and shoveling all the dirt out of and finally getting it done, after that we got our pool put together which wasn't the most stressful thing we've done. And I'm only 15, my dad would've helped but his hand is broken so he did the spending, and I did all the hard work. My sister went to the beach with her friend until the end of the month, so I was doing it all by myself. But it's done now so I'm happy

I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but you don't need to use those plugs everytime you clean or change the filter... Simply lift the filter housing up higher than the water level and then youcan unscrew the vent and lid and the water won't pour out like that as long as you keep it higher then the waterline! 👍... Thats how we change and clean ours and it works great! You can sit the filter inside the rim of the pool to keep it held up by itself if your doing this alone!

Always lift the filter up high before checking the filter. That water gushing out was gravity. The water will not gush out like that once the filter is higher up above the pool.

I purchased some replacement plugs and filter covers for mine they are 1.25 inch for the dual outlet you can add a skinner to..they are to big to fit in the hole..what size is yours i cant find any 1 inch ones

The pump is not enough. Upgrade to the floclear 2200 gal sand pump and get the bestway skimmer. You won’t regret it. The skimmer needs something like vet wrap around the pole to give it something to grip.
I literally was just looking at a sand pump filter and a skimmer last week! I plan on getting both!! Everyone has been recommending both for this pool, so I’m so excited to have a more efficient way to maintain a clear, clean pool. Thanks!

Harbor Freight sells a 19'x19' ⁶ blue tarp for $25.
I have the same pool and it was amazing until recently we have had a lot of rain so it’s moved causing the plastic T ring connectors to have white indentations like they are being cut into. The pool isn’t even filled up all the way I think it’s gonna collapse soon. I am afraid if I trying draining it, it’s just gonna collapse anyway. 😥

Definitely upgrade the pump if you can. When changing the filter. Turn off the pump. Lock the return nozzle as shown and then instead of plugging inlets just lift pump above water level.
I definitely plan on upgrading the pump to a sand filter pump! And I never thought about doing that

I am not sure either. I’m going to set up my pool soon and I can measure the cord and let you know! I do know the cord is very long though. The cord is longer than me and I’m 5’8

Hello I noticed the pump has a timer on it. Does that mean it will turn it self on and off or is it just a 12 hr timer then onces it off you have to manually turn it back on?
I have noticed that after the timer goes off, I have to manually cut it back on.(and reset the timer) It’s kind of annoying to remember to go cut it back on in the morning. I personally would just leave mine running 24/7. But I guess it’s good for the people who do not want to run theirs all day long

This seem like a good pool is summer and my family need a pool and we found the same exact pool at Walmart.
This video is my go to we purchased the exact same pool and are ready to install however I am unsure on how much sand to use lol 😯help ! Lol thank you so much 😊
So we got our sand by the truck full, rather than purchasing individual bags. ( they literally dump a bunch of sand in the back of a truck bed) So it took us two truck full loads from our local sod/sand/gravel place. And honestly if your ground is pretty much level you don’t need a lot of sand. We had a divot in the ground that we had to level so it took us more sand. ( For instance we planned on grabbing at least 10 bags to start before we found out about this other place. But with seeing how much sand we needed I would have probably got 15 bags. And you can always return the extra bags) hope this helps 🙂

@@itsDejza leave it up because we have sand under it so it’s leveled and talking it down will mess it up we drain the water and it’s clean right now and clear ready to swim
Nice ok. I’ve only owned a pool for a couple years like maybe 2 or 3 and each fall we take it down and store it. So I actually don’t know how to like “ winterize” my pool and then have it ready to go come spring. What exactly do you do? I’m about to set mine back up and fill it up again etc
What type of sand did you use and do you know how much you needed? I keep going back and forth on the sand type.
I got my sand from a local spot that sells it by the yard. They literally dump a yard of sand into your truck bed. We needed 2 loads..so 2 yards of sand (2 truck bed full load) and a yard was around $20 or so. I’m not exactly sure what kind of sand it is but it wasn’t the super soft play sand
Question, does it not have a skimmer somewhere? How do you keep the leaves away?
No it doesn’t have a skimmer. I ended up purchasing one separately to add to the pool to collect leaves and debris

What did you put on the grass to level it out? Where did yo buy it and how much did you buy?
It was sand. I got it at a local turf place that sells gravel, sand, mulch etc. They sell it by the yard and scoop it up and load it into your truck bed. I ended up getting 2 yards worth of sand and it was about $40ish
Hi, have y’all experienced any of the pool legs sinking because y’all didn’t use bricks underneath? I’ve seen videos recommending bricks be placed under the legs to prevent sinking

We are setting our pool up today. We got the sand down do we water the sand?
I think the water helped compact the sand enough so that I could walk across and not completely disturb and kick sand everywhere if that makes sense. So it’s really up to you if you want to, you definitely don’t have to
Plz help ....How do I turn on the pump and how long should I keep the pump timer on???
There should be a button that you flip and it should cut on and I personally left mine on 24/7. It didn’t really increase my bill at all but a lot of people just keep it on for a few hours a day. So I’d say it’s up to you
My concern is the ladder, should I be able to leave it on during the summer? Wouldn't the sun toast it? Honest question

Yup I did! I just didn’t add that to the video. But I balanced the water (adjusted the ph etc) then added the chlorine. I actually used HTH granular chlorine. But I have a weekly pool maintenance video on my channel if you would like to see how I take care of/ what I add to my pool weekly
I noticed there’s a timer on the plug to the pump,what do you set it to?
I turn mine on the highest setting and usually when I go out early the next morning I have to turn it back on again because it went off after the timer is up. I kinda wish there wasn’t a timer because I would just run my pump 24/7
Recently purchased the same pool for when you have issues they don’t want to respond so they don’t back up there products

Just subscribed to your channel. I have a bestway 20×48 similar brown patter pool that we just put up a couple weeks ago. I suggest in upgrading to a intex sand filter. Will make it way easier to maintain your pool. 👍😀

@@itsDejza hi, I got mines on Amazon, they have 16in,14,12 and 10.i hot the 16 because I have a 20ft. Pool since you have a 16 maybe a 14 or 12 depends on the gallons of water your pool holds. It has a stronger flow wich in turn will circulate your water faster and to maintain your filter pump clean just put it in backwash for 2 min. Then in rinse mode for 1 min and back to filter and your done.but always pump has to be off when switching to the different modes.and on vacuuming will create a more powerful suction. Ouch my fingers hurt from typing lol 😆

Hi. I added some sand to create a even, level ground before setting up the pool. I only added sand to the ground because the ground was a little un-level. I added the sand, then tamped it down and check that it was level, if it wasn’t I added more sand to that spot and checked again to make sure it was level. After everything was to my liking, I begin setting up the pool

Get a sand filter. It’s worth the investment. I have this same pool & those pumps that come with it are trash and the filters are expensive. The sand filter is perfect for this pool.
I actually have been thinking about it but I don’t know much about sand filters. I’m going to look more into sand filters and how it works etc

Could you give me recommendations to keep it clean? I have the same pool
We pretty much try to check it every day. Once a day we take out the filter and spray it off to keep it clean and put it back rather than replacing them( after a while I do swap them out with a fresh one) on super hot days the chlorine burns off fast I make sure I go check the levels and make sure to add chlorine. Once a week I will do my weekly maintenance on the pool and add shock and algaecide and whatever else is needed to my pool. I also run my pump 247. I have a weekly pool maintenance video where I show step by step how I take care of my pool
Will this be ok to be on top of decorative rocks? I have cement on some parts and decorative areas with small rocks on other
Um I would say if the rocks are level and not super sharp (so it doesn’t poke a hole on the bottom of the pool liner)

How sturdy are these pools? I feel like anything can break one of those pipes and down it goes.
They are actually very sturdy! I haven’t had any problems with the pool legs bending or breaking. They are very strong

I just added sand on top of the ground, and I tamped it down with a tamper and added a tarp over top of that. That’s everything I used
Just got outs up today. Now need to figure out how to heat it
We had a solar cover that worked really well At heating the pool. Or I even seen you could use a few black trash bags on top of the water and it’ll heat it up once the sun is on it

Are the pool legs metal or plastic. I seen some reviews saying they were plastic and had bent over time.
Honestly I’m not even sure, I think they were metal. I don’t have the pool anymore I upgraded to a bigger size
An extra piece comes with this pool but it’s not used for anything. It’s Tony with a tiny o-ring

It was ok and didn’t really filter the water through quickly. Honestly it would be soo much better with a bigger one for sure! I plan to upgrade to a bigger one!
