How can you not love Gane, he is so humble and down to earth guy. Always laughing, giving credits to people around him who helped him and always chasing bigger goals. Hes truly a role model.

I could not care less about his personal life. I do not love him because he is one of the most boring fighters of all time. I was very surprised he was able to get the finish as he usually tries his hardest NOT to fight his opponent.

So good to see Gane's superior technical skills and fight IQ make a huge difference in the end which ultimately lead to a 3rd round finish for him right in front of his home crowd, what a great performance and victory for Gane

Tonight was prime example as to how technique can overcome raw power even after almost getting finished. To see that you can make a comeback like that, is truly cool to see and a great endorsement of Cyril's training.
@@PhenomResurrections08 Skill and technique were especially important in this fight, but the game plan won the fight. I believe the body kicks and strikes simply were too much for Tai.

His has amazing offense and footwork but almost got finished by Tai. He's kinda not very disciplined with keeping his hands up. I don't think he can beat Francis or Stipe. If Jon Jones fights as well in heavy as he did in lightweight, Ganes is maybe #4 in the division. Ganes probably won't be champion until those 3 are past their prime

So this guy got knocked down yet doesn't even look like he been in a fight. Cyril put on a masterclass striking performance, it seemed that the knock down activated his instant kill mode, if he can improve his ground game he can definitely become champion.

You can tell he pushed the envelope a little more this fight and it payed off. He knew the moment was huge and he stepped up and put on a show in Paris as did Tai. Gane is World Class in every way.
Ganes has the best kicks in the division. Never seen a heavy in UFC that can kick like him. He has a very diverse array of effective kicks.

Round 2 was the best heavyweight round of this year so far :-) Gane deserves a title shot next. The Francis fight was a close one, which I thought he won. Anyway, the UFC should make Gane vs Curtis or Stipe for the interim belt or the main belt if Francis leaves, which I think he would do but you never know...

@@88kammojo There's always politics involved and Jon clearly gets a title shot if he ever returns. But the same argument can be made against Jon who most people think lost 3 rounds against Reyes even though he won a decision. Meanwhile, Gane won round 1 and 2 against Francis with a close round 5 that could easily have made it a draw or a split decision for either fighter if the judges even knew what they really were watching. Stipe already has around 10 title fights and new contenders should get a chance next but I wouldn't mind seeing him against Curtis or Gane next for an interim belt. At least Gane had a close fight against Francis while Francis vs Stipe 2 was mostly one sided... Besides, Stipe after the 3 wars against DC and 2 fights against Francis has become less of himself, so that's the real reason Jon wants to fight him. I actually think Gane, Aspinal and Curtis would give Jon a tougher fight than what Stipe would give at this stage of his career...
