    Hey, watch a lot of your content on material science and have learned so much from this channel!
    Could you make a video on why metals (metal oxides) and certain crystal structures are magnetic? I have been searching a lot on the internet, but can't find a good video. More specifically if you could go into and explain why unpaired electrons in a 3d-band are important, and how d orbitals in a structure almost overlap etc.. would be great and think others will learn from this as well.

      These were before I started breaking my videos up into small 5 to 10 minute chunks, at some point I will circle back and do a better job of this but this might have what you're looking for for now

    I followed this podcast even though sometimes it can be very technical if you aren't familiar with the concept
