A few years ago I had a photo taken with Shannen at an Australian comic con “SupaNova”. Shannen didn’t just stand there and just pose for a photo she asked me how I was and showed a genuine interest in me as a person. It was a moment I will not forget ever. Shannen had a beautiful smile that warmed the room. She could have cancelled coming across to Australia as she was in the midst of her battle with cancer but came across anyway. Thank you Shannen for a special moment I treasure.

May God be with her. I'm not even ill and I worry about loved ones having to go through all of my things after I die. I don't wish this on anyone! Now is the time to declutter and get things in order now while one can easily do it. Make it easy on your family when you're gone. They will already be dealing with so much grief over losing you.

What's really sad is the people who had "issues" with her haven't reached out to her in this challenging time of her life, now I could be wrong, but Shannen has a very strong personality. I can't confirm those who were against her haven't reached out but so far, I haven't seen any reports of opposing persons reaching out to her so what does that say about THEM? I think of Shannen and others like her everyday who have no support. At least Shannen does have a support network within her family. Some people have no one. Imagine. We are here for just a moment and then we are not....hug your loved ones and tell them how much you love them and how much they mean to you. All is temporal. Nothing came to stay, everything came to pass.

Life is short. When we get sick, material possessions, don't mean as much. It doesn't matter, whether we r wealthy or working class. Luving friends and family, doesnt always have a price tag. I learned alot, ehdn my younger sister , was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. It destroyed her mind in 5 yrs. She was a top journalist, for NBC, in NYC, for over 30 yrs. At the end, she went blind,
couldn't walk or talk, and was a vegetable. We never know , what's around the corner. Blessings to u and your family

I'm in the same boat. Breast cancer 2016/17 surgery, chemo, radiation, 5 year hormone therapy. Fast forward to Feb/Mar 2024 breast cancer now stage IV metastasized to pretty well all my bones. Starting the clean up and downsizing of my belongings. Getting treatments to help with pain and repair of some broken bones. Not a fun time knowing you have death to look forward to. Hang in there
