- The Honourable Bronwyn Bishop AO served as Speaker of the House of Representatives between 21 November 2013 to 2 August 2015. During her time, she had four motions of dissent moved against. While this is by no means a new record, they are still interesting.

She did want to leave earlier but the chopper wasn’t ready.

I have never understood why the speaker can belong to one side of politics and get nominated by the government. Surely a coin toss would be fairer.
