    -----------------------------------------------------
Today we’ll cover the top 8 warning signs of a heart attack (for women). While you may have heard of some of these signs before, others may surprise you. So please pay close attention!
    -----------------------------------------------------
No # 8 Chest pains - The most common and most relatable sign of a heart attack is chest pain.
People often describe it as sudden squeezing tightness in the center of the chest. This lasts for a few minutes and becomes worse with physical strain. But sometimes, it is far subtler than this.
No # 7 Upper body pains - When you are experiencing a heart attack, nerves in the lungs and chest can get irritated…
…And you can feel pain in sensitive areas like the neck or jaw.
No # 6 Nausea - Many women mistake heart attack symptoms for acid reflux or indigestion, because of nausea.
In some women it even induces vomiting.
No # 5 Dizziness and Sweating - Dizziness is a sensation of lightheadedness or fainting. During a heart attack, people often get unsteady or lose their sense of coordination.
Some people fall because of weakness or heaviness in their legs or arms.
This is because the heart cannot pump enough blood to the brain during a heart attack.
No # 4 Swelling - Swelling, otherwise known as edema, occurs when there is extra fluid in the body. It's a sign of worsening heart function.
No # 3 Fatigue - Days before a heart attack strikes, you may feel stress, fatigue, and shortness of breath.
No # 2 Irregular Heart Beat - It's normal to get an occasional hiccup in your heartbeat, particularly when you’re nervous or have had too much caffeine.
But if you observe that your heart gets out of rhythm often, it's a strong indication of an underlying condition…
No # 1 Your Gut Feeling - OK, it may not be a symptom you’ll find in the textbooks…
But believing your intuition and reaching for help at the right time…
…Can be the most critical factor in preventing or reducing the damage caused by a heart attack.

I get most of these symptoms, especially heart palpitations and chest pain on the left side of my chest. I’m 73 I also have been diagnosed with manic depression, Medication is useless. I’ve had drastic results from anti depression medication,,, I’m sorry to say this but it’s absolute HELL every day, I have been on my own for more than 50 years. I see people on the TV. Holding hands, cuddling each other kissing, It BLOODY HURTS

I had a quadruple bypass four months ago with the ER cardiac surgeon finding 95% blockage in all my arteries.
My symptoms, my arms felt like they were on fire. I didn't have chest pressure, pain or shortness of breath. The burning was on and off after hiking for a few weeks. My instinct was my heart. I was close to being sent home three times.
It wasn't until my teeth started hurting, while in my doctors office that she called 911. I went in thinking I pinched a neck nerve which caused my arm burning.
And, scarier is, my EKG normal, heart enzymn in my blood showed no heart attack, and the 1st angioplasty showed only 60% blockage on one artery. It was a very astute cardiac surgeon who wanted me to go to a cardiac hospital for a 2nd angioplasty. He's the one who found the 95% blockages. He said if I went home that day I would have died of a massive heart attack. My heart muscle was not injured in any way.

3 trips to the ER within a ten-day period. I've had hypertension, treated with a beta blocker, an ACE inhibitor and daily low-dose aspirin, for over 7 years. I also have Type 2 Diabetes, well- controlled by Metformin. Most recent batch of trouble comes in the form of urinary incontinence and frequent UTIs. I take an anti-spasmodic for the bladder instability, and assorted antibiotics and a specific bladder pain remedy when I'm dealing with UTIs. Then an antifungal to beat the yeast that comes with antibiotics. Sometimes a narcotic anti-diarrheal, depending on which antibiotic was prescribed for the UTI. I've had 10 - YES, TEN! - occurrences of UTI in the past 18 months. So now they tell me that I have acid reflux. Probably caused, and certainly exacerbated by, all these meds. Do you think I can convince any one of my 3 doctors to help wean me off even one of these poisons? I've lost the weight and changed my diet to help the now-borderline diabetes. I've cut out red meat and dairy, and walk 3 to 5 miles a day, every day. I quit sodas and all caffeine more than 2 years ago. So why aren't my doctors working for me? They all act as though I'm their property. I don't think they're talking with each other. I'm 62 and ready to quit everything.

I had a rare type of heart attack last year called a SCAD. Fit women with no heart disease or clogged arteries can have a SCAD. 25% of women’s heart attacks are SCADs and they can be lethal. There is little understanding of SCADs or why they happen. Mine was precipitated by overwhelming work stress. Nausea, weakness, dizziness and sweating were my symptoms.

I had a heart attack at 47 years of age ... stick your fingers in your ears as if trying to block out sound now move them forward about an inch. If you open and close your mouth you will feel the bones move. This is where your upper and lower jaw connect ... I had a minor pulsing feeling here. No pain, just a tiny discomfort I put down to possibly gritting my teeth while sleeping. No chest pain, no trouble breathing, no typical male symptoms. However I woke up feeling like something really bad was going to happen and was badly uncoordinated. Like I was really drunk or stoned but had no good reason to feel that way.
Women die more often from heart attacks than men because we don't recognize that we are having one, we don't get the dramatic symptoms men get but, according to the 4 ambulance crews I dealt with: if you feel like you are going to be blindsided by something nasty and you are woozy for no good reason GET YOUR BUTT TO A HOSPITAL, you are having a heart attack or stroke NOW.
I was told that most women ignore symptoms because they are so vague. They go along for 2-3 years and then die from a heart attack. My blockage was only 50% ... most fatal attacks are in the 95% or more range and the crew doing my angioplasty all stood up and clapped at me for not ignoring a minor discomfort (translated to "jaw pain" in my chart) they concidered me as a surefire successful recovery.
Woozy and feeling scared? ... get help now!!
This video is great for warning signs that you may feel before things get life threatening, but uncoordinated and feeling doomed ... you are in real trouble.

Well apart from a few thing on that list I’m doomed ! And I sure feel doomed lately because I’m not in a good way health wise or mentally wise ……lots going on . I do however have hope , gratefulness, & grace through Jesus Christ who died for all our sins . The wages of sin is death and although other people dying or knowing we are going to die may not give us peace about it ….it can be frightening……but to have hope and the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is amazing. 🙏🏻
We all have a free will……but Jesus is waiting for you to accept him 🙏🏻
