Mark is in a very exclusive group of musicians where he can sing at a very high level, play lead guitar, key boards, harmonica and he wrote 90% of the songs for Grand Funk Railroad as well. Incredibly talented musician and rock and roll front man. One of the best ever...

It's now been over 50 years since I first saw this man in concert and he still sounds great.

Mark has lived just down the road from me for 30 some years. He is a down to earth family man and is as kind as he is awesomely talented. Mark just recently booked a show at our local casino and it sold out in under thirty minutes!
Was texting with a young man from Chile about Mark's tour there. He said to tell Mark in Chile they call him an "Apu" a mountain God! ✌
His voice is just as good as it was back in the day. He’s the soul of GFR. Seen him 3 times, what a talented man!

The man was 69 when he performed this in Chile....my GOODNESS!!! This was just as good as it was in 1970 when he recorded it on Grand Funk Live from Florida. 'Heartbreaker' and 'Mean Mistreater' are still two of my all-time favorites!!! THANK YOU Mr. Farner for all the incredible music that helped shape my life of music!!!!

Brothers and Sisters if you have not had the chance to see this man you need to get your ass in the grove and see him while he is in his bone suite!!!! This man is Grand Funk Railroad the other two that were in the band back in the day couldn't handle the fact that this is the man, the brain's behind everything. And he still sounds as good today as he did back in the day. Thank you brother Mark for everything you have done hope you'll come east again so I can hopefully see you one more time at least!!!!

Not in good voice this night, but he can usually still belt it out!!! He just turned 74 and is still kicking ass, while most of his generation are either toes up or in a nursing home. AMAZING!!!🙏👍

@@michaelwenzel1682 I watched the vid again. Yeah, he's a bit off. I've seen GFR and Mark a number of times. Always belted it out but not here so much. And the crowd is a bit sour too. But compared to past shows he sounds off to me. Maybe it's the way it's coming through on my phone. Sounds off to me.
Even his guitar playing is a bit fumbled. Everyone has a bad night or song. No biggie.
