I feel like no one talks about how the Black Panther suit in civil war pulled off the white eyes pretty well. Or like the red eyes on the Daredevil cowl, but just white. That’s more or less what I imagine it would look like.
Deadpool as well, although they did cg some eyebrow emotion on the outside of that mask. But Pattinson gave such a great performance with his eyes only it's easy to see why they don't do it.

I like the idea of Batman with the white lenses because I think they can emote them in post production a bit so they show emotion and have that extra concealment factor so if Dick Grayson did ever have to take over for Bruce it would be more feasible that not everyone immediately know.
So many great questions and theories from the community. Also I did not even think on Rob’s Batman contact lenses covering up his eyes to make it white can actually work. Reeve’s could’ve easily have done that after hearing that but I’m thankful he didn’t.
Yeah man. We were discussing that not too long ago about if they do bring the white eyes to upgrade his suit, the only way I wouldn't be pissed is if they only did it for a "detective mode" and not throughout the film
@@tonyb1984 absolutely. For Pattinson I don’t want the white eyes on him. And like you said if Reeve’s makes a nod at the white eyes it would have to be in detective vision just like Nolan did. That I can get behind on.

I actually think it would be cool for Damian to actually want to meet his father. Like maybe Ras and Talia are talking in the room and they name drop Bruce as damians father and Damian over heard. Then proceeded to escape the league by killing several members and traveling to gotham. maybe he gets tired of Ras arrogance as well. But when he meets Bruce maybe he doesn't want to show any feelings because that's how he's taught so instead of telling Bruce that he wanted to meet his father instead he says something along the lines that Talia didn't want him no more. Then towards the end Talia shows up to get Damian and she might think that's it's going to be easy because Bruce wouldn't want Damian but then to her surprised he tells her no and that it's his turn to raise the boy and she says something along the lines of "it's your death wish" and she goes back to the league.
I like this, but it kinda takes away from Damian’s murderous side. Which leads to less development in a way. I also like how you spelled his name 2 different ways😂 it’s with an A btw😂

I'm super hyped for The Batman Part 2 and The Brave and The Bold. Both are going to be very different takes on Batman and I can't wait.
This is 100% hypothetical and I don’t see them doing it, but I think it would be pretty cool if, at the end of the Flash movie, Barry runs back into the speed force to fix the timeline (accidentally creating the new DCU), but maybe he can’t survive the trip and instead has to become pure lightning, playing on the comic storyline where he becomes the lightning bolt that gave him his powers. However, I think it would be cool if, instead of striking a fresh faced Barry Allen, he instead hits an unsuspecting Wally/Wallace West - this would be an easy way to get around the confusion of recasting, and allow for a fresh take on the Flash.
Bonus: they seem to view flash as a comic relief character anyways in recent years, so if they wanna do that, they may as well go with the Flash who actually IS comical, rather than slapping Barry’s name on a character who’s mannerisms much more reflect Wally anyways🤷♂️

This is my version of what was happening with Superman Legacy:
WB/Discovery were keeping their options open, hiring Gunn to write a Supermam script in case they needed to use a new one. Which doesnt mean it HAD to see the light of day. Most scripts dont. And they also wanted to give Cavill a shot, and if it were successful, they would go thay way.
Plus, an extra comment:
I believe James Gunns intentions when saying Superman was younger or not 40, was to confirm that they wouldnt use the already stablished Superman that was Henry Cavill, but someone younger, like when Cavill first started.
This makes sense to m since I believe Cavill is 40 or almost 40.
I have always thought that the white eyes could just be contact lenses, and it could be realistic he wears a mask to protect his identity and wearing contacts to make his eyes white would protect his identity even more because then they can't even tell his eye color.
It seems that some people are under a delusion that Warner Bros. is obligated to produce DC content, but that's not the case. While it's true that businesses need to make money, Warner Bros. is a private organization and doesn't owe anyone an explanation. It's the insiders and scoopers who give us a glimpse of what's going on behind the scenes. Rather than focusing on the politics, we could wait until the movie comes out or speculate about what it might be about. It's not enjoyable to hear people dictate how a private business should be run. Additionally, there are vultures out there who will leak information for personal gain and clicks. Let's avoid giving them attention and instead, focus on the creative possibilities of the movie.

I was initially excited for Pattinson's portrayal, but since the announcement of an alternative, it gives me hope that we'll get to see a more fantastical and exciting version of Batman, regardless of his age. It's a shame that we stray away from things that work, like the Telltale games and the great Arkham games, and instead opt for a more grounded approach. It's simply uninteresting. When I saw Michael Keaton's cameo in the Flash trailer, my heart skipped a beat as he flew down just like in the animated version. This is the kind of excitement and fantastical elements I want to see in the future of the franchise.
I love Zack Snyder but this plan James Gunn has with Superman legacy,blue beetle,the authority,lanterns,Batman the brave and the bold,booster gold sounds more planned out to create a tied in universe like what Marvel has done in the past 15 years. DC needs to pump

I would agree, in part. With everything that went on, it’s very apparent that Zack did not even come close to completing his vision of the DCU. We’ll never know.
It's unlikely that we'll see another Justice League film for at least another eight years. In the meantime, I'm excited for James Gunn to expand the universe by exploring other characters in-depth. It's doubtful that we'll see Barry in the next Flash movie. Personally, I'm more interested in the DCU version of Batman than the upcoming Pattinson version. This is because we've already seen Pattinson's portrayal, whereas the DCU Batman promises to deliver something we've been eagerly waiting for - an exploration of Batman's other stories, including those involving his family and the supernatural aspects of the comic. Hopefully, these stories will be executed well and satisfy our long-standing expectations.

There was a Batman story in the late 70's where Batman is took to an alternative earth by the Phantom Stranger and Bruce gets to stop the murder of the Wayne's of that Earth. Little Bruce still is seen begining his training to become Batman at the end of the story.

There was no miscommunication there. If Black Adam had a massive box office return, you would’ve seen Henry Cavill back as Superman; absolutely, no doubt about it. It didn’t; so he isn’t.
Unfortunately, it was a power play. I love his Superman and wish we still had him, but I’m fully thankful that The Rock isn’t running the DCU. He’s already into the XFL.

...and it just was Batman from the comics I was looking at at the time, cuz I was just a kid, I was more into the art, wasn't a reader but loved just the look and art the whole thing.... when I saw a comic book shop it was like a shining light on the street that instantly caught my attention
Bottom line is, Black Adam bombed. If people wanted more Henry Cavill, they should have bought a ticket. If Black Adam was a huge success, there would be more Henry Cavill without a doubt. But people clearly don't care about him. So, we're getting a new Superman.

I know that james gunn shared some artwork of batman and damien's robin from a comic book but we all know this wont necessarily be what the characters end up looking like.
I personally hope we get a gray and black batsuit with short to medium ears, similar to that of the son of batman or batman vs. Robin animated films or even something similar to the rebirth batsuit with the the large bat emblem that has the gold outline.

I'd love to know what vibe of musical score we will get for Superman and Batman. I'd admire a return to a more traditional symphonic score for both themes (more akin to Danny Elfman/John Williams) and less of the digital synthesized notes heard in modern superhero flicks.
In regards of the DCU batman having white eyes, is it possible yes, but I feel like it would work best if not used all the time. The way I’d like to see it used is have it as some kind of alternate vision. Batman uses darkness a lot so let’s say he cuts the power in a warehouse, how does he see. The white eyes could be used as a night vision sort of thing adding the reason why batman can fight in the dark so well.
Hey there Boba, been following your channel quite lately now, I'll keep try this question relatively short but anyways I want to get your thoughts on who'd be your villain pick for the Brave and the Bold given that the movie will follow Damian's journey with his father. I was thinking that they could introduce Bane ( id like for Dave Bautista to play him) as a villain but I'd much rather they save it for a sequel down the line and incorporate some elements of the Knightfall storyline and maybe battle for the cowl to introduce the larger Batfamily .

It's unnecessary to dwell on the fact that James Gunn was revising the story six months before the release of the movie. This is a common practice in the industry, and it's time to move on from it. The current discourse sounds akin to someone who has been cheated on in a relationship. However, this is just business, and it should be treated as such. If Warner Bros. had faith in the Superman sequel, they would have gone ahead with it. It's not uncommon for companies to face mismanagement issues at some point. It's important to remember that everyone is susceptible to making mistakes, even those who work at Warner Bros. It's not a foregone conclusion that they can't make money or mistakes. While it may have been a misstep for Disney to let go of James Gunn, it's time to accept the situation.
I haven't watched dccu (or how is it called) ever but i know the reception it recived (just wasn't interested in live-action at the time except standalone Matt Reeves's universe and animated were amazing), but i am pretty optimistic about this new things in live-action and animated, i think they have something for everybody which is awesome to see
Paying Gunn for a script means nothing. They scrap more expensive things and change directions n more completed projects. Having two options is nothing new. LEgacy most likely was just a thing that would came out, or NOT, depending on how would Black Adam perform. Have it been a massive success? Legacy and Gunn would have been scrapped faster than Gunn's tweets. And 7bucks and Garcia/Dwayne would have been in charge.
Alas, out of two pictures, one won. Or differently. Gunn won through Dwayne's defeat. DC people have hard time showing up in movies :D

I think it’s important to discuss the Aquaman 2 in the room and the apparent “abysmal” test screening reviews it’s receiving. The movie has 9 more months of post-production before the film releases. Many great films are made great in the editing process. The original Star Wars wouldn’t have been as beloved if not for changes in the edit. So fans should judge the film when it releases, not before.

Observation: This has to be sexy. When Batman is first seen by Talia he has to be wearing a traditional cloth uniform. Not body armor.
I love DC. But Warner Bros. Doesn’t know where or how to start with these movies. It’s all a lack of communication/connectivity and imagination. They’re too focused on Money and competition.

Regarding the white eyes. I think they should absolutely have them in both the franchises now but it how you do each of them coz you will lose emotion no matter how it’s done unless you throw out all realism like the deadpool mask and how it all moves and squints ect which I don’t think they should do. The best way I se them doing it is having a mask like the Netflix daredevil one where the lenses are actually there and part of the helmet then cgi the white so the opacity then looks solid white or slightly glowing. I also think it should be something he can activate and turn on and off where the lenses are built into the mask and they drop down from within and then activate and illuminate a bit so its like a detective mode or night vision / scare tactic thing he can do
With Shazam taking place before the reset and Blue Beetle being standaloneish Aquaman 2 REALLY feels like the house guest who’s over stayed their welcome and just can’t catch the hint

With the batman having white eyes not letting the actor show emotion, Andrew Garfield has a whole mask with eyes that can't move on his spiderman suit and he can still convey emotion through the mask with his body language so having a batman with white eyes is far from impossible
Poor example. Batman isn’t meant to be so expressive in body movement like that.. he excels in stillness and composure, where Spider-Man is the opposite. Emotion can be conveyed with framing n context for Batman, but definitely not excessive body movements in dialogue scenes

Boba, do you think it’s a possibility that Gunn was appointed 6 months ago to write the next superman movie, before he took over - there were some general conversations between him and the DC leadership at the time about Cavill/bringing him back and Gunn was just like “yeah I like Henry we could do this for him” or something, then things drastically changed/he got the leadership role right around the time of Black Adam where obviously Henry appeared, and then thought more about it like “ok I’m in charge now, I like Henry but…” and then realized he’d have to bring along the rest of Snyder’s cast like Amy Adams etc and then was like ok, I just want my own vision and characters - ideally it’d be cool to bring Henry back, ideally I’d like to, but it would just be another example of a DC mess like Henry but then all new side characters etc ?
Unlike other characters that’s just about that character- Shazam is not just Levi- he changes from a child and the “child” actor is no longer a child (that goes for most of the other kids as well) - so dropping the kids but keeping Levi makes no sense. Nor does more Shazam movies with this cast - AGAIN 😂 these children are no longer children.
They just need to hard reset this and recast Levi as something else:

This story Particularly could depict Hardware and Icon battles while also introducing Static, Rocket and others. Having the big bang at the end leading to a part two as we see Holocaust rise at the end.

Based on his acting ability he can’t portray a charming charismatic Superman and I never thought cavill was an ideal looking Superman. Alan straight up has a more classic/iconic Superman look. Bigger frame, bigger neck, crazy jawline, better smile, he would be a better looking Superman.

Henry was a mid actor that got the role primarily because of his looks. As far as I’m concerned both of these guys are B/B+ level actors but, Alan personality and acting style warrants a more accurate and natural representation of sups. Cavill is stiff and grey. His demeanor and body language are the same in every role he plays. Even in uncle his comedy is very tight and reserved. It’s not a crime, it’s just his style. He cannot play an All Star Superman type Superman. Alan on the other hand has shown that he can radiate charisma as well as be reserved and stoic. Plus he straight up looks more like Superman, specifically the justice league unlimited Superman. It would be awesome if cavill could come back down the line as an elseworld red sun Superman or something, but I think Alan is a better fit for the mainline DCU.

@@brandontchedji No, the Snyderverse stopped after 2016 when Snyder left. Mos is the biggest selling Superman film to date and with BvS combined earned over a billion at the box office. Every film after was a HamadaVerse project and they all flopped, thats Josstice League, BOP, WW84 and with Gunns TSS being the biggest flop at DC in 10yrs, WB lost the trust of fans.
Then DC fans who boycotted those movies got the original ZSJL in 2021 and it was a huge global phenomenon. This reignited the hunger for the continuation of the Snyderverse. Unfortunately WBD continue the trend of the old management, they refused to promote Black Adam and they lied to fans about cavill. All this will result in the failure of Aquaman 2 and Shazam 2. See the trend?
Flash will not make a billion and WBD are hoping Marvel fans will fill this void but unfortunately Gunns DCU will crash and burn. In fact theres a strong possibility of WBD being sold before Gunn gets started. Heres hoping DC is sold to a more reputable company.
