    You kind of skipped over that she refused to record promos for the company, refused to send back the title belt and demanded a huge amount of $$ from Impact. Just "she was fired" leaves out a lot of information

    Tessa no showing as Impact champion at Slammiversary 2020 killed her career. You can be forgiven for a lot of things is wrestling, but the one unforgivable rule is "Never walk out on a company as their champion." No company is going to trust a wrestler with any title after doing that.

      especially one that stood by you AND made u their men's world champion at a time where quite frankly, she should have been fired. bad publicity she brought onto impact should have been enough of a reason. the audacity of a women no showing and having no respect for a company that (unpopular opinion) devalued their main mens title just to get her more over!! no respect, no gratitude, and definatly far from humble! people tend to stay away from humans like that.

    She had such a bully mentality that she was actually bullied out of our school by so many people. One story was her running for class president and being caught on school cameras ripping the other candidate's posters off the wall in the cafeteria.

    She currently trains and holds clinics out in Texas. I got the opportunity to go to the first one and I’ll admit, being a person of color I was intimidated to meet her. She briefly mentioned her “media cancellation” but definitely showed a side of growth and responsibility when recalling it. I can’t vouch for her on her previous accusations but she was so encouraging and uplifting during our clinic with everyone that I was more so blown away with her professionalism yet relaxed demeanor.

    Tessa Blanchard, uses the "N" word and is labeled as a bully which was backed up by lots of other well known and respected wrestlers. She then just denies it and doesn't own up to it despite the evidence. The fans, they just brush it off and leave her alone. However, when people like Lio Rush, ACH or Ivelisse get into something, people jump at their necks even when they actively try and defend themselves and explain to fans about situation where the fans don't know the full story and hardly are ever given the benefit of the doubt. White privilege and hypocrisy at its finest.

    • @LadyAstarionAncunin
      @LadyAstarionAncunin Před 3 lety +4

      This is a very fair and logical take. I appreciate it. And I agree. AEW has a very diverse locker room and has actually punished people for racist offenses in the context of work. Also, they got rid of Ivelisse when she was toxic in the locker room, so it would only be a matter of time before they got rid of Tessa. And I can't see Swole, Jade, Nyla, Red Velvet, or others putting up with her from a racist standpoint, nor could I see Thunder Rosa, Britt, or others putting up with Tessa being a diva. The most bothering thing is that Tessa has shown zero accountability, which shows that hiring her would be a big risk to any promotion that hired her. Impact got their own karma. And since AEW touts its inclusion, it'd look really bad to hire someone who is not at all honest nor contrite about being racist. I hope she learns and changes, though, because it's a shame.

    Tessa Blanchard is a great wrestler without a doubt. And yes, I tend to count her as a horse woman along with Sasha, Becky, Charlotte and Bailey. The difference between her and those ladies though is that those other ladies know how to do business. Some friends of mine have argued with me saying Tessa just doesn’t take no shit and she knows her worth. Whenever I hear that phrase “she knows her worth“, I often roll my eyes because that often means You were so full of yourself you can’t see the bigger picture. It’s one thing to stand up for yourself it’s another thing when you think Soli of yourself you can’t see the forest from the trees. In other words, you have to know when to stand up for yourself and win the staying down and eat crow. Sometimes you have to kiss butt before you can kick butt.

Stuff like that can be forgiven or forgotten. The problem with Tessa seems to be one of attitude and ego. From all reports she was just not a nice person to work with. Impact tried to work with her. They didn't fire or suspend her when the claims against her surfaced. They told her to stay home during covid just shoot some promos for us. She couldn't be bothered to do that. Didn't she just beat Nick Gage a couple months ago in a non title match

    She really should lay low for a few years from wrestling. It's gonna be extremely difficult to come back from all this. For fuck's sake, a "We Want Tessa!" chant broke out during AEW's All Out women's battle royal and was shut down with a resounding "No, we don't!".

      With the way aew’s women’s division is now aew does not need tessa.

      @@cliffordjackson3 I dunno, man. I feel AEW's women's division still needs major star power. Aside from Britt and Thunder Rosa, there's not enough star power in that division.

      I dunno Abt all that if she's competing with the men she's average. Cause shes nowhere near undertaker,rock,John Cena, roman reigns, Keith lee, bobby lashley.
      Your gonna tell me she belongs with them? No! She's one of the best FEMALE wrestlers. Maybe if you said Charlotte that would make sense
