Chad really understands the art of groove.
Trying to replicate crazy drum chops canbe very easy, you just have to play the notes. But replicating groove is just on another level. That is waht makes this song very hard to replicate. Even if the notes themselves are not complex at all, the groove and dynamics Chad uses are so feelingfull...
a note to anyone using this track to play guitar alongside: if you're still working up the speed set the video to .50 speed. You'll feel the groove and when you pick up the tempo it'll click better

Where do you get the stems for the drums? I usually find them bounced down to one track

@@drum_tracks For instance you have kick, snare, toms and cymbals all on separate tracks, but I usually only find a single track with all the drums on it
Now I understand your question. I also have one stereo track in some videos - drum mix. But for some songs I was lucky to find multitracks. Frankly, I would not like to describe in detail how I managed to get them.
