Usually by hand, that said, we extended our build contests with some terraforming tools that are similar to WorldEdit, so everyone can invest more time in details and less in big terraforming.

in medieval times, people would not have glass window because glass was very expensive, instead you probably should have used spruce trapdoors for windows. also they wouldn’t have houses this big unless they were really rich. most houses would be like little cottages. this “sea town” must house some of the richest people in the medieval times.
