For your #9 tip, you can use manual on the joysticks of the controller instead of the buttons. You just have to change the settings. I play on manual this way and it’s super fun!
While I agree with your #8 tip (to trade in unwanted “Speed Cards” rather than sell them), you don’t get 1 part per card traded in. It takes a total of 3 Speed Cards per spin at the parts shop.
Evan Acey still a great tip cos the later level 18 cards cost around 30k so you are getting them fir half price basicly
Yep. It's a great deal if you're saving up for a new car and wanting to upgrade it as fast as possible.
Usually I store tokens up to 21 (since you need to three for a roll and there are six parts that you can upgrade) along with having an extra amount (if I were to buy a new car) for visual customizations.
If I still have enough money, I'd go ahead and buy another speed card, then trade the previous one in.
That said; being a ricer in this game is a huge disadvantage. 🤣

SAME! It takes me so long to do med and I’ve played tons of racing games before. If your playing medium, get used to restarting races. I would try going through the race a couple of times to know when to drift or take sharp turns

Please use a LIMITER in your audio track. Your voice toooo low and the transitions extremely loud!
I use a wheel and shifter when I play so that's why I like manual, it actually helps you accelerate to your maximum speed faster

I just want to put it out there that though automatic is easy to play and takes out the struggle for some. But if you can play well and master manual it will give you a big advantage in online speedlists as you get much more control of your car

Best tip i can give, because ive had to do it alot, if you are doing a race and just struggling very much, lower the difficulty. You may still struggle but it does help gain the lead. I had to do it alot during offroad races because the offroading on this game is awful

1:50 i own nfs payback for years now and i prefer manual for lots of reasons one of them is that i dont have driverslicense yet and i am trying to practise manual, i practise it in almost every game, AC racing, forza, and even nfs payback
for me its very satisfying to change the gears manually
Performance cards you can sell from 2.000$ to 11.000$(depends on how good the card is

Hey Rey-Vision I don't know if you know this but the car really doesn't matter when it comes to speed it depends on the driver. And as you mentioned you said "get a lambo if you want to go online and play" or something like that my advice you really don't need a super car to keep up I have a M3 E46 and it keeps up with a lambo and another thing I would suggest going online early and have practice driving with other racers and see how it feels other than AI all the time and learn from trial and error. Im more of an online multiplayer kind of guy but speaking from experience I can definitely say that the story of this game is amazing even if you’re like me.

Hey man I got a problem I've finished the career game on need for speed payback. My car doesn't want upgrade to fully it does upgrade to 399 but still slow for online experience. My friend told me his top speed was like 360 I can't even get my one over 230. My upgrades keep giving me minus speed cards. I don't know what's the problem. I've tried everything.
i cant use the live tuning feature in pc by pressing 't' ,plz help .
The hardest questline mission for me was the 2nd off-road mission before the Outlaws Rush the 3 where they call the cops on you after each boss since they were good friends with the house
That was hard but razors edge was harder
i play this game still, and i am beating people left right and center with a Most Wanted kitted BMW M3 E46 GTR haha! my favorite car of all time, and i am still kicking ass with it to this day, yes sir!
If you are using an elite controller you can map y and x to the left and right too paddles to manual shift super easy
I started the game on medium then at one race I was restarting for the 5th time and no matter how flawless I tried, the other cars were much faster. I changed the difficulty and updated the car haven't had a problem yet. It is very weird the difficulty system.
And dont forget guys!! You need to be pressing a key for your car to accelerate! I wish i knew that earlier good video

PLEASE, up your voice volume or make the number transition sound less loud, so that with option 1
1. We get used to a louder sound so the transition with the number becomes less loud and causes less jumpscares :) xD
2. Just make it the same audio as your voice.

I actually played/finish the game on hard, with the golf I started with. And it was pretty easy. Hahaha
Still got my S2000 I started with a few days ago.
Personally I challenged myself to drive manually and it helps me so much better on drifting and on racing cuz I can lock myself on a speed during a corner while drifting through

I completed this game on hard, offroad races were painful
repeatedly press nos button grants the niche effect on drag races. Over the half on a drag race, you presumibly almost reached the max speed, if in this moment you press repeatedly instead of hold nos button, you can maintain at least 5km-h more speed (maximum of 10), really really miniscule niche, but worth exploring on ranking online
I enjoy the game more with manual
when you make your first derelict car, choose drag build. then you got second choose runner... believe me i screwed this (ending up with derelict/race & derelick /off-road)

I liked this video cause it would help out people BUT tapping you nitrous does have a very large effect , and an even larger effect if your acceleration is bad.

I never thought that lists could get this bad. Buying the game? Seriously? Also, who doesn't know about brake to drift!
I use both the handbrake an the regular brake and the same time, it's useful when I'm going high speeds and need to take a tight corner. It's also useful for drift points.
@@-Rezin- noo tap the break right before the drift hit the handbreak when the nose is right about to turn throw the weight onto the back wheels then right as it starts to drift wait 2 sec hit gas get speed going with a fat angle but a fast drift so u not loosing momentum
