Hi Zach, long time viewer of your content. I'm in my second last year of med school and even as I approach the end of this journey I can't help but return to your videos to gain as good of an understanding as I can before tackling an upcoming exam. Thank you for always being there for myself and plenty of other medical students like myself, to make even the most complex topics as easy as breathing! You are a truly blessed person with this gift of yours, and I hope you and the whole team at Ninja Nerd continue making such great content for us to enjoy. God bless
Thank you so much, your way if teaching is brilliant. Please continue with neurology lectures, I really need them.
Thank you for this!!! I'm not in the medical field, but these videos help me understand what happened with my mom during her stroke. She has a 100% occlusion of the ICA and every time her pressure dropped she would experience more symptoms. In FEB the blockage was 85% and within 3 months it was 100%. The doctors haven't been able to tell us why. Thankfully our last neurologist took her off the BP meds so her pressure stays a bit elevated in order to help with profusion. Through the angiography, her communicator artery is very narrow and has limited flow and most of the blood flow is coming from the arteries in her face and passing behind her eyes.
We've seen several neurologists and they have given us very few treatment options for her due to the location of the blockage and they've said that basically all we can do is baby the arteries she has and pray it doesn't happen again.
I can blab on and on, but again, thank you for this information!!!

This is so crystal clear and well-layout that as a pharmacy student tackling a case study of a patient with hypertension and ischemic stroke this video perfectly encapsulates 1/2 of our case analysis, really! Amazing. Thank you so much to Zack and the Ninja Nerd team - this is the best present I have for today!
I’ll be making a video about drug therapy for Stroke. I come to this channel frequently as well. I’m here to teach all pharmacy students 💊🤘🏾
We now give TNK because of its practicality and half-life: given over 5sec no IV infusion is needed + half-life of 20-24min. VS and Neuro checks frequency remain the same as when tPA is given. This lecture is so amazing 💕 as always Ninja Nerd delivering the best content 🙏 thank you so much!

Thankyou!!!!!!🙏
You make learning so much easier thank you for what you do!!! :-)
i am not a medical student but i really enjoy your lectures....it really helps me to have a greater understanding how our body work.....Just one question: what goes worse on Beta blockers and ARB (why we cant stop ARB and Beta blockers immediately) these two have increase my weight and change my mood a lot as well insomnia....i am 42 HTN and newly DM (6 month back)....i know its not a consulting platform but just curiosity
I am just a medical student, but to my understanding, if you suddenly stop Beta Blockers/ARBs it's gonna lead to something called as rebound hypertension. Since your body is used to having it's BP controlled externally, it takes time for it to adjust.
Thank u boss
You are amazing
Your are Amazing
