  • In this video, I'll explain how disregulated hormones are holding back your gym progress. Disregulated hormones are very common in the modern world, with all of the toxic products that are being used today.

Great video, but I would add three more things.
    1. It's not enough to just stop drinking water from plastic bottles. Drink good water, period. Get a water filter, like a countertop reverse osmosis system or a berkey. Also, make sure you're drinking enough of it. Half your body weight in ounces per day minimum.
    2. Air pollution is big, too. I just vacuumed my room, cleaned my sheets, and got this HEPA air filter on full blast right now. Absolutely get an air filter.
    3. Stress. Find out the mental/emotional stressors in your life and eradicate them swiftly. Oftentimes, we have too much on our plate, and it wreaks havoc below the surface. Start knocking things off your plate. Get out a pen and pad and write out all the shit you need to do. Also, yoga and breathing exercises help for stress. Breathing less = less stress typically. There's an overbreathing epidemic. More air does not equal more oxygen. When cortisol is high, testosterone is low. It's really that simple. They can't both be high at the same time. Stress management is a must.
To reiterate what you said, the body can only tackle so many things at once. If you want to succeed in the gym, you're going to have to limit/eliminate the stressors in other areas of your life so that your body can tackle the major stressor of exercise-induced damage.

Spot on, well-written comment. I agree with all 3 points brother. Stress and oxygen management is big, might do a separate video on this. Thanks for your insights!
