I have recently started going to my local parish Church (Church of England) and after six weeks I have been asked if I would like to become an Acolyte. Obviously I said yes because that's is why I am here. I am quite exited becoming one as I want to get involved more and also serve God and my local community.

It's a way to help lazy priests abuse the liturgy. They'll soon ask you to give out communion to the 20 people at mass that the priest can easily handle and that by church law he should take care of himself. And if you're a girl, even better. They'll be able to show how woke they are by having you give out communion, as if you're a girl priest. Bergoglio's sinking the Church fast.

They are not acolytes, acolytes are servers who've been serving for a long time already, these are experienced servers. They assist on the altar during high mass with the deacons, they may also serve as the MC or master of ceremonies. The responsibilites of an acolyte is to teach younger servers and assist in high masses. These servers depicted in the video are still regular servers or some may be seniors.
Ill put here the ranks of an altar server:
    1. Newbie/Observer: These are newly joined servers and they have to observe first before serving.
    2. Aspirant: These are new altar servers, they should start observing the older servers to learn. They can't touch vessels yet, they still cant assist the priest, they can only attend the mass but they can already serve.
    3. Server/Regular Server: These are ordinary servers, they can already assist the priest and touch vessels, they can teach the aspirants.
    4. Altar Server: This is an older server, they've been serving for almost a year already, they can teach the younger servers.
    5. Senior Altar Server: These are servers who've been serving for almost 2 years, they should know already the parts of the mass. Their responsibility is to teach the younger servers.
    6. Sacristan: These are servers who've been serving for 3-5 years, their responsibility is to take care of the sacristy and lead the ministry.
    7. Acolyte/MC: They are the oldest servers, theyve been serving for a long time already, their responsibilites are to teach the younger servers and serve during high masses with the deacons.
    8. Seminarian: Some servers become seminarians.
