Loktar Ogar! We're starting an Orc vs UD game where I'm not going to have the best early game. On top of that, my opponent's Dreadlord is about to summon an Infernal. Let's see who makes the ground shake more, me and my Earthquake, or him and his hellish demon!

Honestly Grubby's videos have gotten me more into Warcraft now that reforged is coming out.
Something about the fact that people analysed moonstone and figured out those nuance is so intriguing to me, it is why I love playing complex games. I am rarely good at them, but figuring out all these tiny little details that add up to a real advantage or define a meta/build that otherwise may have gone unused is great.
Cool start -- explanation about moonstones with mathematical level rigor :) I really wonder whether Grubby is more talented in science or in humanities. He seems to be good in both.
That TC he had around halfway was rocking some sick items.

that last fight MAD make the mistake - I think he was winning all the way, but he messed up with his inferno ult on the great hall and JUST about lost the TC. Very good game

Why is island expansion always not popular on this map
True , i feel it could give one an edge
Zepellin is expensive (while expansions already are expensive), the camp is difficult so it requires your big army to be away from the main map (leaving you vulnerable to harass), and it's actually easily scouted using the workshop you probably had to clear to buy a zep in the first place (which the opponent will notice if it's missing from the shop)
it's also too much hustle. Unless you have air units, you need to deal with zeppelins constantly: to clear it, to bring workers there, to protect it. Zeppelins are expensive, microconsuming and vulnerable, while air units are not meta for any race (probably, except NE).
I have seen Grubby take the island expansions on this map before. If he hadn't been so short on money (island expansions are extra expensive, as noted above) and had more forces for a straight-up fight (to be able to save an island expansion under attack), it might have been good to take some.
Do you get experience if an enemy is killed by the Spiked Barricades?

At this level of play one knows when they've lost. Could be no income or just simply lost heroes.
@@craftistic82 . . . And Grubby was going to head over to MadFrog's base to destroy Altar before he could get a hero back out (and probably didn't have enough money for Tavern revival).

Pausing time to gain extra night means you’re always getting extra night..RIGHT?🤔
as Grubby explained well, this is not always the case. If the game would have ended during the night, by gaining night in the middle of the game with a moonstone you loose a piece of night at the end of the game. So the total nighttime remains the same.

Why does grubby finish creep camps when he has both heroes above lvl 5. Just killing the Item-carry would be enough
