- Kamakura is a popular destination for foreign tourists because of its popular anime and movies.
The most popular station is Kamakurakokomae Station, where the Enoden train runs.
Tuesday, August 8, 2024, 5:00pm.

Today, we will start our walk from Kamakurakokomae Station.
We will pass through the railroad crossing that appears in the anime "Slam Dunk", go up the slope where the cemetery is, and walk to the hill where the residential area is.
The view from there is even more spectacular, with the horizon in view.
After walking a little and going down the slope, we also met a cute cat.
And there is a secret photo spot at the railroad crossing a little further away.
This time, we will also be passing through many back alleys that we will be passing through for the first time.

I have visited Enoshima...not just because it's a lovely place..But also because of the anime "Bocchi the Rock" Ep.9....I visited Japan twice last year from the UK (solo) to see my favourite band live (in Tokyo and Yokohama)..And during my second trip I visited a number of real life anime locations for "Super CUB", "Non Non Biyori", "Bocchi The Rock", "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid", and "Mitsuboshi Colors". I wish I could of seen more..but time and money is always a factor...And chances are..I'll never get to visit Japan again, which saddens me greatly.
