  • RSlogix 5000 Tutorial on using the CMP and CPT instructions. This is just a general use to show you how the instructions operate. There are many ways to use them this was just one way to explain them.

Thanks, I was looking at nicer way to set a DINT to 0 instead of CPT with 0

    hye.
nice vid.can I say this is the same method as we would do for analog?

    • @plcplc3138
      @plcplc3138 Před 4 lety

The following formula is used to convert analog values:
Scaled value = (Input value * Rate) + offset
      Where:
Rate = (Scaled max) / (Input max - Input min)
Offset = Scaled min - (Input min * Rate)
      Meaning of individual variables:
Scaled value - in physical units
Input value - The current value at the analog card input
      Rate - The conversion constant
Scaled max - Maximum value (in physical units eg 100bar)
Scaled min - Minimum value (in physical units eg 0bar)
Input max - Maximum unit on the analog card input (32767)
Input min - Minimum unit on analog card input (0)
Offset - Correction of recalculated value

neelesh trivedi do you need this video in a different language? there are no zoom ins on this video. you may need to change your playback options as well to a higher quality like 480p
