How To Style Your Kinky Curly Wigs | Meka Sharay

Just a quick tutorial on how I style my kinky curl wigs. This is how you can get those curls to POP.
THE WIG:
This is a Full Cap Kinky Curly Wig that I made around four years ago. I used 14' bundles. No closure, no frontal. I love this wig because I am able to just throw her on and go.
HOW TO:
Before I define the curls, I go through the hair section by section with my wide-tooth comb to get out most of the tangles. The brush will get those tangles the wide-tooth comb missed.
Once the hair is completely tangle-free, I clump the curls with my fingers. I also do this in sections starting in the back.
Allow the wig to air dry. DO NOT touch her until she is completely dry.
STYLE MAINTENANCE:
I usually repeat this process every 10 days or so. I do love how it looks as it gets bigger and bigger each day. If you prefer the wet look, you will need to use a styling product that will weigh the hair down.
At the end of the day, I store the wig on a wig block. You can purchase a Styrofoam head from your local beauty supply store or Amazon.
