I’ve had 3 units all top of the line from Polaris and Can-am. In single cab and crew. I always go to the defender. It’s just a better all round machine. That is what I like every one is different and I’m not really here to sway anyone just having fun and letting people see as unbiased opinion as I can give. I buy 1-3 every year so it could change next year. But I truly don’t think it will. 23 Can-am Defender has true 30” tires, forward arched a-arms and will probably be able to clear 32” tires no lift
@@americandream_89 appreciate the time you took responding. As silly as it sounds, the one thing that really bothers me is location of oil filter on defender. What’s your take on that? People blowing it out of proportion or is it really that big of a pita to change?
@@chadilacnissen9717 I’ll be straight up it’s a tight annoying oil change but it’s doable. No one likes it and if you let the dealer change it it cost a ton. I run Amsoil in every thing I own and I almost double the change interval.
It sucks that Polaris has a beautiful ride command screen with radio and gps and cameras and plow control etc all built in and canam has beautiful screens on their snowmobiles for crying out loud but the $30000 sxs had a crappy horrible quality picture rear view mirror? For $400-$500 for a rear view camera is horrible. The quality is soo bad on the picture. Rumor is the 2024 gets the snowmobile 10” gauge and some Sort of update for the ac usage etc.. hoping they put the screen in the middle even if they have to raise price 1200-1500, would be worth every penny
That would be sweet. I’ve never had a snow mobile. I’ll have to look the screen up on them. It would help sales. I’m wondering what’s in this new ranger being announced the 30th
@@americandream_89 I had a 2021 ranger northstar. Loved it but had problems and at 1100 miles it was burning oil. I drove slow and drank beer on rides that’s what I bought it for Lol. Sat in a 2023 defender limited and I swear the difference is insane. The Polaris feels like a piece of crap compared to canam. The only downside is the ride command screen in the Polaris makes it seem more modern and it works great. Gonna order a 2024 the minute you can order if they add any new gps or screen. Also they better put door locks back on.. no door locks on a 30k sxs is insane…

The Polaris filter is not much better on front of the motor. It sucks also
