  • Selling my 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe after 5 years of ownership. Triple white with blue carpet and dash, a beautiful color combo. Genuine Appliance wire wheels. 72,950 miles! I’ve owned this car for 5 years and have only put 2,200 miles on it, so it’s time to find it a new home. This car does have a Massachusetts Reconstructed Salvage Title, it was reconstructed prior to my ownership. It didn’t bother me as it shows so well, and the knowledge of a older car being so easily “totaled” I didn’t care. Offered at $8,995

@coffeeinthemorning EPA doesn't dictate styling. The changes in the automotive industry are as much a result of customer demand as it is regulations. With the oil embargo in the 70's came a need for lighter, more fuel efficient cars. That forced us to think more economically. I know this is not a political channel, but you can't blame the evolution of the car industry on Trump.

@@JP-gt9ek By the time these were being phased out in 1991? Consumers didnt want a land yacht anymore. People were leaving cadillacs in droves for BMWs and the new brand Lexus. They wanted less chrome, more handling oriented hence why the new Caddy STS did away with all the traditional caddy aspects like wire wheels, white walls, chrome galore

Time goes fast. I remember 1980 when this style was new. That was 40 years ago. I remember the first Fleetwood Coupe I saw. Was 1980, in Brooklyn. My father had a 1979 Coupe De Ville, and I told him if he got a 1980 to get the Fleetwood Coupe and not an 80 Coupe De Ville. The vinyl roof, on the 1980-85 Fleetwood Coupe, made all the difference compared to same years Coupe De Ville.

@@BrynhurstSixOwe No. The Fleetwood has the chrome side molding, plus the interior the seats are nicer on the Fleetwwod. Those are the differences cosmetically, but a lot of options on the Coupe DeVille are standard on the Fleetwood. When the cars were new, the Fleetwood was several thousand dollars more. After 1985, while the body style stayed basically the same, Caddy started deleting a lot of standard features on the Fleetwood to the point is wasn't much more equipped than a 1980-1984 Sedan Deville. 1985 or 1986 was the last year for the Coupe version of the Fleetwood Brougham. The 4-door continued for 6 or 7 more years. .

Look I follow a lot of forums I have a G-Body regal.. it's refreshing to see an actual beautiful Cadillac go for a fair price.dudes advertise these things so far overpriced and they're not even close to the caliber of this one. I've had Cadillacs as in my younger days. Didn't care for the 4100. Someone's definitely getting a good deal to buy this beautiful car paisan.Alluv 👍💲

Most USA cities, car will be stolen, stripped for parts or make its way to museum. Think blue accent on the interior, may lower resale price, most like the dark cranberry accents. Too bad the engine does not have chrome accents. Had Caddly like this one, everyone complained about the visibility from the rear opera windows-----very limited. This is a beautiful cream puff car, thanks for sharing. Sure hope it has some auxiliary alarms/batteries. Interior was also used on some of the larger Buick/wagon and think Olds wagon too. & poss. 1 yrs on Caprice Estate Wagon.

Another classic car, Anthony. Though I see the" Fleetwood Brougham" script on the exterior sail panels, and embossed on the interior door panels, a Cadillac 2dr. coupe of this vintage, will always be a "Coupe DeVille" to me. And finished in triple white, with custom wire wheels, and wider whitewall tires, this one's a beauty!

Hey Anthony... beautiful car. As usual.
Question for you because you might know more about Cadillac history than me of course...
I thought that the Fleetwood moniker only applied to the 4 door with centre pillar models. No centre pillar, not a Fleetwood?
Prior to 1984 where there any 2 door Fleetwoods back in history?
    Cheers :)

I swapped a strong running 455 Buick engine and a TH 350 transmission into my 1984 Fleetwood. It has 3 inch exhaust pipes with 12 inch long glasspacks to give it that perfect Harley Davidson rumble kind of sound. Its fun to drive and the only bad thing about it is the gas mileage. I'm getting about 8 or 9 miles to the gallon on the highway.

Very clean under carriage and that lower door rust is no biggie.....next owner can knock that out in a couple hours with some prep work and 2 coats of Rust-Oleum Marine Topside gloss white...self-levels and lays out like glass. Great addition to someone's collection.

Darrell Yelity the Ford 5.0 302 that was in The Lincoln Town Car, Crown Vic and Mercury at that time were bulletproof, trouble free and more powerful (for the 1980’s) than the HT 4.1. A Ford engine in the Caddy would have been a Huge improvement.
