- At times we can view our gifts, talents, or even our experiences as nothing. We end up discounting something in our life only to realize later it had much more value than we believed.
During the “Yeah, I’m Scrappy” talk, Oneka McClellan reassures us nothing is wasted in God’s hands. What we may see as a scrappy life, God can make whole.
Throughout the Bible we see how God uses what seems insignificant for his glory. Each of us are special. God has created us each beautifully and uniquely. Regardless of what we may feel and no matter our circumstance, we were all created with purpose.
Whatever our scraps may be, as long as we turn them over to him, God’s power will redeem and restore them. Nothing is wasted, God is faithful to transform scraps to success.

I respectfully want to say this is an extreme misunderstanding of God, man, and the Scriptures. This said nothing about the Gospel of Jesus.
Listen carefully to WHO this message is mainly about. This solely is about lifting up the pride of man (us) and not the Lord Jesus. I pray we may all grow in the knowledge of the truth of the Gospel and take care of what we preach and listen to.
MrPhadd it’s a female lead pastor so of course there would be this pride issue. A woman’s ministry is her household family and other women not as a “lead pastor” at a church.
Men and women are equal but they have different roles.

Nicely said. Christianity today has become nothing but motivational speaking. This pastors aren't shepherds at all. They are spiritually starving God's people. Sad
MrPhadd in 2020 we have a generation of people who don’t know God, and so we don’t know ourselves- who we are and we carry and what god wants to use us for. People feel alienated from God, a lot of us have been put off by church, faith and relationship with God because of our lack of knowledge of scripture and Christian terminology we don’t know because we were never introduced to it by people on our level, in a simple way that could just translate the truth that Jesus loves us and wants to use us not because of how great we were (because we aren’t) but because of gods love and sacrifice. These engaging simple, relatable teachings are a great starting point for people who just need God (so brilliant, multifaceted and deep) explained to them on their level. Think about it when your talking to a child about Jesus you don’t start with explaining the deep doctrines of Christianity. You start simply by saying God is the creator and the one who holds this whole universe in his hands. So they can get a picture of God. We’ve got to be patient with people and where they are on their journey to knowing Christ fully because none of us know him fully- we can’t. But we can help people to not be put off, or afraid to learn about a God because of their mistakes and bad self image. You won’t believe how broken and desperate People are and what they’ve been through people just need love. This is what vous is for. Reaching out a loving, inviting hand to broken people to let them know God doesn’t hate them but that he’s committed to them and that hes kept them living so they could live in love with him because of Jesus. Please understand this is a process. And that The people who listen will begin their journeys with god and become more hungry and deeper and will want to learn more about Gods nature, and the good news of Jesus for them.
