Nowadays, the number of people that can get a higher education degree has increased exponentially. Most people stand tall and firm and say that if you do not have at least one higher education degree you are doomed to fail in life. But, some people strongly disagree and we have loads of examples of people that did not get a higher education degree yet succeeded in life way beyond everyone's expectations. Hello Aluxers, it's been a rough couple of weeks for us. Long story short, we almost got sued, CZcams doesn't care & our narrator had her house almost burnt down to the ground. Happily for us, no one got injured and things are getting sorted out. We're trying to get back on track as soon as possible, because we still have a lot of really interesting topics to cover (some suggested by you guys). In life you'll be faced with a lot of struggles, the goal is to overcome them and keep going! That's what we're here to do! Thank you for sticking with us though this!

    • @MIOrko
      @MIOrko Před 5 lety

      @Brandi Bohannon It did great. Graduates are offered the highest paying jobs, respects and social standings unlike US universities which only offers you student debt. 100-200 dollars for 4 years is what I consider free. Even if you cant afford this much the university will give you full scholarship as long as you are a regular and good student. The most expensive university in my country gives students full scholarship for the semester if you score more than 2.75. Our economy is not top notched but the graduates definitely gets a top notched lifestyle.

    1) Please keep your videos short. 7 minutes is the standard time. People get bored and click on another video.
    2) You're giving too much information.
    3) Your narrator's voice is not good for a voice over. It's squeaky.

    • @MakeWay4CJ
      @MakeWay4CJ Před 6 lety +7

      1) if someone doesn't have the attention span to listen to something that's more than seven minutes when its for their own benefit then they probably should be watching videos on how to increase their attention span. After all, a stong attention span has become a higher commodity than it has been the past because, well, these last two generations seem to be without the ability to focus for a reasonable amount of time, which is what is needed to be at your best.
      2) there's no such a thing as having "too much" information. It's all about being able to disseminate in your head what information you need versus what you don't. You should never encourage anyone to give you less information when the info is relevant because that lack of knowledge could come back to bite you in the end.
      3) You're right. There's something about the narrator's voice suggest sthat she doesn't know what she's talking about or at least she doesn't sound levelheaded (not saying that she isn't levelheaded just that she doesn't sound that way). However, seeing as though they did mention that the narrator's house almost got burned down, it's possible that this person was simply filling in for the regular narrator while she sorts through the issue.

    Meanwhile you can graduate for free in top universities in my good third world country. Just be aware that if you want medicine you'll face the fierce competition of just 1 out of 200 candidates being accepted.
    However, you'd probably never see such high cost degrees even in the most expensive private schools. They would be at $100,000 at the most. Studying here is the safest, and in most cases going to the US probably isn't the most intelligent choice anymore.

      Assuming we're talking about the U.S., Some positions require a degree to even be considered though, especially in the corporate world. Like where I work as an accountant, there's an assistant that has plenty of experience and could do the job and wouldn't require as much training as a new hire, but without the bachelor's degree we cannot get her on the payroll without that degree. It's stupid, but also an unfortunate reality at the moment. But spending tons of money on something in the Arts is too risky, STEM is the only thing truly worth going to school for in my opinion.

    Keep in mind that in the business field, having a degree is a boost but not an end all and be all.
    just like any other investment, wise decisions and a financial projection need to be made.
    One cannot just pick any degree because it's their passion, it could be very risky.
    in short.
    Studying something because you like is the emotional decision, not the rational one. (This is why many failed to become successful)

    The best country in the world to study for a degree that has a big expectancy standard of study throughout it is Scotland universitys. I think it is worth going for a degree to get higher paid jobs however you do need to still start at the bottom and work your way up with experience but a degree will only just land more jobs because that's what the jobs expectancy standard is. Your way of thinking at the end of a degree when graduating from universitys in Scotland will be different from just gaining experience.

    Forgot to mention the liberal arts private colleges on the west coast. Starting at whopping $ 70,000 per academic year as an undergraduate. 4yrs x 70,000= 280,000 plus (room & board not included). If you can do it in 4yrs. Better off learning a trade. Get paid while learning the skill. After 5yrs, you're a journeyman with no school debt. Then you can work for someone, be self-employed, or both.

    ...by now, the 'socialized education' (gambit) is obsolete 'if' the idea is knowledge (ability) in a field of your interest. As 'that' should have been the case all along, one could conclude that the 'benefit' of typical career pathology is moot (at best). Da Vinci, Gurdjieff, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, were 'creative talents' that superseded the 'need' for school and extended their genius to history. Most of the 'great people' of history were only inclined to do what they loved to do. The 'ambition' to mediocrity is the 'lowest common denominator' of modern times.

    I think it’s worth getting a degree 📜 in college if you can handle the pressure!!! We all need higher learning but it just depends on the deepest desires of the heart of a person!!! I believe it’s the best to get Higher Learning from a college but I also believe a person can achieve a higher learning degree through Research 🧐 on the internet!!! I learned the hard way that no matter how High your education is, it means nothing if you don’t find the right people to work with!!! An education is only apart of the foundation and then pray to God that he will surround you with the right people to work with, or work for, or work for you!!! And when you become an important person you will have people you work with, work for, and people that will work for you!!!
