Hi Robert great vid as usual. However (it may be mentioned later down in comments) but, On my 1994 T5 at least, you also need to remove the two similar gold coloured screws at each corner of the instrument light collections. If that makes sense? Cheers

Just to mention - on my '95 there are two more screws that need to be removed - between the digital cluster and the warning lights on either side.
It's a VDO, but slightly different than yours, with black back panel. Maybe the european version is slightly different than what they sent to US market.

id love to see if there is any way of switching out, soley for my leisure, my MPH to KMPH spedometer, is it possible, but more so, to the point/problem, after installing my audio deck, at times my spedometer just doesnt work... no clue why, happens randomly. thankfully the audio deck displays my speed.

I have to add over 110 000 km on my 96 volvo and I am wondering how to do it without damaging the mechanism or wasting too much time. Thank you so much for great videos, you are doing so much for us volvo enthusiasts. Bless you, greetings from Slovakia.

Hi Robert, greetings from Costa Rica. I have a 1993 Volvo 850 GLT that does not mark the speed in velocimeter shows the revolutions the level of gasoline and temperature but not the speed. How can I solve that?

Probably has a bad speed sensor or bad wire going into the top of the odometer cluster. Is the transmission shifting properly? If so, it's likely a wire at the cluster issue.

    •  Před rokem

@@RobertDIY Yes, the transmission is 5 -speed manual, it works well.

Hi Robert, You helped me before on a question on my 1996 VOLVO 960. The issue Now is that I Smell Gasoline when
I am Stopped while Driving. A friend sad, that he Thought it could be the fuel injector Seals that are "leaking".
But I have Looked under the Hood and there is No Visible Sign of any "leaks. Could this be the cause, and How do
I repair it , if possible, or must I take it to a mechanic or the dealer ??
