Lucid and Frosty have setting vids, but this is prolly one of the most efficient ones

The threshold being low is a game changer... that allows you to have way higher sensitivity which is the reason to have low. You get the best of both worlds
Genius! I have been trying to dial in the look sensitivity for weeks and never thought to lower the max threshold so sensitivity is more consistent throughout the movements. It’s those sudden overly excited moments when I’d overshoot my targets. Just a few rounds playing bots and I’m used to the settings and love it. I’m only 3acceleration and 5 sensitivity but that’s plenty right now.

When these pros do videos on their settings, they REALLY need to disclose what kind of controller/thumbsticks they use and any other controller accessories, because that will play a huge factor on what your sensetivities/deadzones should be at. I genuinely dont know why they dont include that information in these videos. Some of the competetive controller have massive differences in thumbsticks/buttons and just overall quality
Controller doesn't matter if you claw. If you don't wanna claw go for an elite 2, scuf, or battle beaver so you can use paddles. You can do neither and still be good but they will elevate your game.
@@Tyler_Harkins but it would also be interesting to hear if he uses, for example, a tall concave thumbstick or a domed thumbstick, if he uses 2 paddles or 4 or none at all and his reasoning for that, if any. At the end of the day we all choose our own preferences and sensitivities, but it’s still valuable to hear a pro players thoughts on things
@@Tyler_Harkins controllers matter a ton. The thumbsticks/thumbstick accessories matter heavily to decide what your sensetivity and deadzones are going to be. For example if someone is using a super tall right thumbstick for aiming theyre sensetivity is naturally going to be much higher than someone using a short right thumbstick. Samd thing goes with domed vs concaved thumbsticks. Also certain controllers like the elite series 2 have adjustable tension thumbsticks, that also is going to play a huge role in what your sensetivity will be

Turn "Simulation Quality" to ULTRA. Not sure if you read the blog post from halo waypoint on desyncbut they said they "highly recommend" turning simulation quality to ultra to improve chatter between client and server (better game experience).

been using ur settings for a solid month or so and it is money. the only thing i changed was axial to 12 cause my centering is awful lol.
deadzones/max input is all preference. like you said it really depends on the condition of the controller. i got hella drift so my move stick is 15.15.15 and my look is 0.0.15
movement drift is fine though, it doesnt have to be perfect

being someone who uses a control with two paddles and doesn't hold claw I have had a hard time with the weapon drop mid fight. I have dedicated jump and couch to my paddles and holding Y while taking ur thumb off the right anolog stick makes getting hold this medals very hard. setting weapon drop on d pad sounds so clutch cant wait to try and win more of those mangler br combos! Hey bud, holding Y or switch is not the same as drop, drop needs to be remapped into your setup, I have a razer controller with an extra L and R bumper that I use
@@robertellis9750 yeah I noticed on setting nothing was set for drop. All though by default if you hold y it does drop the weapon but it’s time consuming. I set drop weapon on my d pad now and it’s doing wonders. I have gotten a bunch of hold this medals in the last 20 hrs of game play since doing so.

If you play bumper jumper u don’t need any more than 2 paddles I’d say
Battle beaver but it’s pretty much a default

@@solobusiness4320 I'd still go for 4. I map sprint and crouch as main paddles. Then the other two I'd map reload and ping. Reload because often you gotta drop equipment on the slide to grab camo or OS and it's just helpful to not have to remove a thumb from a thumbstick in such a high pressure scenario. Then ping just because you can ping easy pre/mid fight.

She said he used right on the Dpad to drop weapons, so he basically just remapped his seap weapon button to right om the d pad? Or is there a way to specifically make it so the Dpad is only drop weapon and not also swap weapon? Im kinda confused
If you look in the settings there is a drop weapon option that isn’t assigned to anything as default but you can assign it to what you want. I think default right on dpad is used to swap Spartan ability but that is not necessary in multiplayer just in the campaign.

Bro fix your audio! Get a pop filter for the mic and put a limiter on obs so that it stops clipping. Two simple fixes to bring your quality way up

damn u don't play with any strafe speed? ur the first person i've seen to use 0 move thresh. the lowest i've seen was lucid at 5 until now. do u feel ur strafe speed is slow?
