Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Was actually diagnosed with cptsd several years ago. Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. FYI. For anyone thinking of getting one of these kits BE CAREFUL. If you live in an apartment or are just doing this in a random room, the spores can and WILL seep into the wood of your house and start growing EVERYWHERE. If you want to use these kits, have a DEDICATED place away from your place of living to grow them.
But then you’d have an endless supply 🤔 Jk haha that sounds horrible! 😅 I was gonna get a blue or pink oyster mushroom kit and didn’t even think of the spores spreading.
Now you gave me an idea to make a mushroom room.

Субстрат запаривается горячей водой, расфасовывается по пакетам, туда же вносится мицелий - это грибница, зародыши корней, у нас они высеваются и проращиваются на зерне. Внутри мешка в мокром субстрате мицелий прорастает, потом происходит то, что вы видите. Надо прорезать дырочку и опрыскать простой водой, создавая эффект грибного дождя. И грибы начнут расти.

Это Вешенка, их видов много, почти от белых до тёмно - коричневых, а если вырастить на шелухе от семечек то аромат семечек приобретают. Очень вкусный и полезный гриб, в крови нормализует холестерин. Нам природа даёт все природные лекарства но человек хватается за химию. Какой субстрат такой цвет и аромат будет. И быстрее их выращивать таким способом, на пеньках и дереве очень долго.
У вешенки от за Ева до начала плодоношения- 21 день и неделя на рост грозди. С таймером немного прибрехнул парниша

Только успевай вешенки срезать.
Я пару мешков в погреб забросил, и каждую неделю ведро грибов.
Только они белые были, света нет же...

Pearl oyster mushrooms start with many tiny mushrooms that get bigger. These golden ones split from a big mass first into lots of mushrooms. It’s cool how similar mushroom grow so differently.

I'm lucky. They grow naturally in my area. I have 3 big logs that bloom out huge clusters of golden oysters a few times a year. They are not native to Michigan but are escapees lol. But delicious!
I have inoculated a few logs with the pearl oyster and a few other logs with shiitake mushrooms. Its so cool to see them go from little pinhead to big old mushrooms

There's nothing
Next thing you know, they'll be growing out of people's heads and making them do clicking noises.
They're different type of fungi, the one from the show is cordyceps and this one is golden oyster mushroom or Pleurotus citrinopileatus. Cordyceps are parasitic mushroom while golden oyster mushroom are edible mushrooms. They're even from the different division, classes, order, etc.
Fun fact, cordyceps is actually used as a medicine for curing respiratory infection
