During lockdown I’ve finally accepted that I just don’t feel comfortable in fitted tops (even if they’re flattering). Since I was mostly at home I only dressed in what made me feel comfortable, which got me thinking, why don’t I just always do that?!
My personal style while in lockdown was nonexistent, now that I’ve returned to school I have to look like a functional human being again 😂
The orange skirt and crop top with the flowers is SO cute! I love how the colour of the flowers and the skirt match 😍

So refreshing to see someone re use clothes🧡 , CZcams is full of people doing cheap clothes hauls, spending hundreds on un sustainable brands each and every month. Most of us can't afford new clothes very often and we don't really need 100s of new clothes either 💙

Same. When I didn't have school I would just throw on tshirt/sweater and jeans/leggings. I'm actually having fun planning outfits now (not that I'm going anywhere bc of lockdown...)
This was adorable, I loved it! Yesss sustainable fashion! Oh, and about colors- nearly all my clothes are on the green-blue-purple-gray spectrum, but why would I buy something in a color I'm neutral about if I could get it in a color I love! Lol I also dye my hair those colors too, so it gets quite obvious what colors I'm drawn to. Everything in my life ends up matching my color spectrum, even unintentionally sometimes! For example, my hair's currently teal blue.. my car, of which I had alt-color options, is also teal blue! But hey, my colors come together so easily in my life, at this point I just accept it! I'm just a Florida girl thriving in an ocean-and-forest color world.

Thank you so much for this Hannah! I'm over a year into anorexia recovery and have been very put off fashion after my changing room breakdowns. A lot of my sense of style overlaps with yours and it's rekindling my excitement for developing my wardrobe.
self-indulgent videos are my favourite kind, i love to hear people talk about things they really care about and make them happy
I'd known for a while that I liked really comfy pants - black yoga pants at an office job can work! - with longer flowy tops that had some waist definition. But during lockdown, I embraced the fact that what I really wanted was to wear dresses all the time with leggings or bike shorts underneath. I also admitted that I was drawn towards vintage looks, specifically 40s and 50s styles.
I totally revamped my wardrobe this year, just giving myself permission to embrace the hyper feminine and start exploring vintage fashion!
I've followed you for quite a long time, and I feel like in the last year or so you've really developed a specific sense of style. Not that you didn't have one before, it's just that some things just scream "hannah" to me lol. I love this. It's like I've witnessed your style journey 🤭
I dyed my hair (and eyebrows) neon pink, I’ve never felt more confident and like myself!
I just cut my hair really short after a lifetime of long hair down my back. It's amazing how easy it is to make one change and feel so much better about yourself 💛

2020, the year we all stopped wearing bras. We all know the restaurant and entertainment businesses are struggling but no one thinks of all the bra companies.

midorishiwa thanks for acknowledging that not everyone is trying to lose weight! I wasn’t but that’s because I’d given up. 😂 I ended up going on a medication that had weight loss as an unusual side effect. So here I am completely unprepared with no clothes that fit!
I love crop tops and high waisted bottoms! Especially cropped jumpers and high waisted jeans with a bit of belt peaking out. I think it’s a very flattering combo on any body type because it breaks up all the material.
I would pair the black polka dot shirt with the yellow skirt and red lip for a fun vintage inspired look. And that yellow skirt would be perfect for pockets. If it doesn't, Morgan Donner did a video about how she added pockets to everything. If you wanted a project. Everything is so adorable!

You could also embroider over the stain if you can't bleach it away! Or maybe paint over it with fabric paint or add a patch! I've saved some clothes with that before ^^

I'm still figuring out my style but also think I'm getting there. Bottoms are generally mid wash or acid wash skinny jeans. Tops are boxy cropped t-shirts or statement jumpers (oversized, puffy sleeves, bold patterns, etc). My colour palette has been described a "bruise tones", so lots of pinks, blues, and purples, with a little mustard yellow, khaki green, and burgundy mixed in. Finding your style is definitely a process, and takes a whole lotta time, but it's great that you've shown finding your style doesn't need to involve buying a whole new set of clothes. It's so important to shop your own wardrobe before you shop the stores. Hopefully this video encourages others to find new ways to style their existing clothes

I had the same kind of "realisation" about my style during lockdown, although I must admit that I bought a few pieces in the last months, mainly because most of my former wardrobe were hand-me-downs or bad purchases from my teenage years and I didn't like most of it.
Now I feel much more comfortable regarding my clothes, because I realized I don't have to follow any trends and have built a nice little capsule wardrobe with only my favourite colours, cuts and fabrics 😃 I can't wait for lockdown to end so I can finally go outside in those clothes more

I'm big boobed but tall, and I love a crop top high wasted short outfit.
Those long blue polkadot pants are to die for 😭😭 I was so sad when you said charity shop, I want them! 😍😍
I also noticed that most of my clothes have similar colours! For me it's black and white, everything between beige and brown and other neutrals, oranges and reds (mostly mustard to rust tones), some greens (mostly dark green/khaki but also some blue-er greens).
I have one purple item and nothing in yellow.

It makes me so so happy to see someone that’s also short have a bright and colorful wardrobe and apartment! It’s so refreshing and relatable. I cannot live without bright colors. I‘d say 95% of my clothes and things in my apartment are colorful. I mainly love mixing yellow, white, blue, emerald green or aquamarine with a bright red moment, not necessarily all together but these colors are pretty much my personality in a nutshell 🥰✨

As someone who has taken personal style very seriously since the 2nd grade I see a distinct style here that you've created. Having watched your content for years I see how your personality has influenced this whole lookbook and I just love it! The most important part about clothes is that you wear things that make you feel comfortable and speak to you, no one else. All of this looks effortless and distinct that that's amazing! I'm so stoked to see where you take these looks into the future 😎😎😎

I have the Lucy and yak crop top but in blue and I wear it alllllll the time 😍 love how they're ethical, trendy (but not tacky so it'll stay in style for years to come) and... affordable for a student like me! At least if you're patient and wait til it goes on sale lol
I have discovered that my colours are orange, army/olive green and mustard yellow. I prefer wide leg pants and midi skirts paired with tank tops, occasionally band tees. I have been back at work so I've been wearing either Dr martens shoes, sandals or low rise converse. Love the video! ❤️

I have done the exact same thing! At the end of March I had major surgery to have my one of my kidneys removed. After that I just decided "you know what. I want to get clothes that I feel happy in". I think prior to the surgery I was just buying relatively inexpensive clothes because I wasn't too fussed about what I wore and was also trying to save money. But after, dealing with the pain and discomfort just made something click in my head. I made a Pintrest board to get an idea of the styles I liked and then I went through my closet and got rid of anything that didn't fit that style. I then bought some pieces online and I am in love. I feel so good when I wear these clothes. My wardrobe is a lot smaller now and that's fine because I love each piece and want to wear them all

I feel like we've had more time to think about ourselves for ourselves, without having to go out so much or seeing our friends or other people that influence our style, so we are really buying or wearing things for what we want to be or for what we like, idk it's simple but novelty at the same time. I love the how much colour there is throughout the video
During lockdown I discovered my style is ultimately androgynous with hints of feminine. Bought my first pair of good quality heels for my fem days and a chain for my masc days 😁

If you don't mind the monochrome, the yellow top would look great with the yellow skirt. The shirt that you are wearing in the "chatty" part of the video would also look cool with that skirt.

My lockdown style has been a cheap pair of lightweight joggers I got for longhaul travel I did in March (right before lockdown) and then...wore them almost every day aside from when they needed washing because I was working from home on my masters project 😂 best “fast fashion” I ever bought
the r2d2 top would look so good with the blue flowy trousers!! Pattern mixing is tricky but if you keep it to the same colours (eg, a b&w striped top w black bottoms with white flowers or smth on) I think it really looks cohesive like you have really good navigation to your wardrobe 😚💞

I'm definitely still on a journey to find my personal style - I have so many clothes & I think I get overwhelmed by them! However, I have just found out I'm having a baby so I think this could be a good chance to try out a smaller wardrobe and see how I go! ✨
I seem to have reverted back to what I wore as a small child and now live in dungarees and slightly baggy t-shirts and I'm loving it! Also some jeggins that are full pull on with no zips or buttons because they're so comfy and my hands don't always work very well so that makes it so much easier. I can't wear anything that's too tight at my ankles because of my ankle braces so the stretchy jeggins are perfect
I love this video! YES INDULGE!! We need to see more women just loving themselves. What i also love is that you're the first woman i've seen with the SAME body type as me so it's so nice for you to try on clothes and make me feel better about my body type too.

I’ve definitely felt like I’ve also developed my style during lockdown, it’s such a great feeling! I’ve fully embraced my love of dresses and figured out how to style them and layer them in ways I feel so much more comfortable and like myself in 🥰 I also adore all the yellow in your outfits

My "uniform" has been a sorority event shirt and shorts since I like to start work soon after I wake up so I can finish earlier. I don't feel the best in it, but it's more utilitarian at this point. However, when I do dress in my cute clothes, I might describe my style as maybe comfy boho grunge?
This was super cute! I love seeing people do style videos featuring clothes they already have, it always inspires me to get creative with my own closet, and it promotes a much more sustainable mindset than endless fast fashion haul videos!
i've just found your channel and just wanted to say YOU'RE SUPER CUTE !! i found the same in the last lockdown except i was ordering a shameful amount of clothes on depop and i bought my first ? casual ? dress, i'd only ever worn them for interviews and sixth form but i found a LOVE for floral prints and stereotypically more girly items and now i have 3 skirts and 5 dresses all from my own epiphany in lockdown that i was growing from my tomboy roots? but yes just subscribed, hope you're safe and well during these times !!

To be honest I shopped quite a bit during lockdown... it gave me a sense of normality to think about fashion. I also realised that I was missing some pieces to create a style that I feel comfortable with. I found out that my minimal wardrobe wasn’t quite as suitable as I thought it was... but it’s a shame that I couldn’t really wear my new clothes out but since I pretty much stuck to my fashion wishlist I know feel very comfortable and confident with my wardrobe

I’ve definitely been buying less in the last few years as I wear a uniform for work 5 days a week. At night afterward, I change into leggings or shorts and a top usually, season depending. I don’t buy any tops that are unitaskers. Absolutely everything I buy has to make at least two outfit, whether it’s with jeans and shorts or whatever. I’ve only bought one thing this year, in January. I got a new warmer coat for winter. Last year I bought 2 pairs of shorts (black and navy linen), a pair of black pants, and 3 shirts. The only thing I haven’t worn as much are the black pants, due to some weight gain, though I probably should have bought a larger size from the start. I’ve got tops that I have had for years that I wear off and on...I’m currently in the on period. It’s not to say that I won’t buy anything this year, but it’s got to be multi-functional as well as something I actually need. Much to retailers dismay, I’m shopping more intentionally and that usually means I’m buying less.

i also really found my style in quarantine because i basically realised that i don't care about fashion and feel most comfortable wearing cargo pants (the utility kind, not the fashion kind) and "men's" tshirts and i switched over to wearing barefoot shoes full time. i switch the tshirt for a button up on the odd occasion that i have to go into the office but the cargo pants are staying
I think the biggest thing I took away from this (besides you looking great) was how comfortable and at ease you looked! I think for me, I ended up hitting peak-dad early and my personal style is cargo shorts and a shirt.

My style finally solidified way before corona. It was a game changer. I don't even try on stuff anymore that is not going to suit me well and I can tell that by looking at it.
