    How To Successfully Overpack The Osprey Farpoint 70L
    Despite reading numerous blogs warning me not to overpack. Lets’s face it, I’m from Essex, as if that is going to happen.
    Obviously I took the approach of ‘stuff in as much as you can Kels, you need it all’.

    I've been looking at bags for WEEKS! It is difficult to find reviews that are detailed, show multiple angles, and give an idea of how much volume one can hold. You went above and beyond. Thank you.

    I have this exact backpack, used a different type of cheaper duffle as an airporter, but think I'm going to get the Osprey one, my only reservation is that it looks quite big when packed. Your video was very useful, thanks.

    Does the Osprey cover bag come with the backpack or did you purchase it separately?

    • @trackmydrift6120
      @trackmydrift6120  Před 6 lety +1

      I purchased it separately. If you are taking a few flights or afraid you might need an extra bag it is great because you can fit both inside the airporter without it counting as two bags.

    What is the difference between the Farpoint for men and the Fairview for women. Thank you

    • @trackmydrift6120
      @trackmydrift6120  Před 6 lety

      I am not sure on that. I would assume the fitting of it when a man/women is wearing it might differ slightly.

      Apologies, the little black bag I put inside the day pack is a North Face bag which I don't believe they make anymore. But I think you might find something similar in that brand.

    Where are you going and for how long? I was getting myself a backpack for 2 months trip in Europe, a 70L backpack seems just about right to you. That makes me reconsider how big of a backpack should I get, I was getting myself a 62L backpack by the way.

    • @trackmydrift6120
      @trackmydrift6120  Před 5 lety

      I took far too much stuff! The great thing with the Osprey Farpoint is it comes with the day pack which is so handy, but I could have had a smaller back pack for sure! Having said that they can be pricey, so think about what you will need for future trips :)

    I am always wondering when people pack things into plastic bags - it is good protection but it cannot breathe. Don't the clothes get smelly?

    • @trackmydrift6120
      @trackmydrift6120  Před 5 lety

      Surprisingly they didn't! Probably because most of the bags got holes in them haha. There did however survive (just about) the 8 months I was away.

    Pro Tip; If you have to sit on your backpack like this, to close it. It means you got to much with you.

  • @ZULEIKA1999
    @ZULEIKA1999 Před 5 lety +1

    Far too much stuff if your sitting on the pack to do it up, it quickly becomes annoying when you have to do it several times a day ( I had to send stuff home after only a few weeks so I know!) and all that plastic! Your dorm-mates will quickly hate you! Use packing cubes, they are much better and amazing.
