I think this is the exact moment when Sam really started to hate Liz. Not just because she found out that Liz & Jason slept together, but because she knows (as Jason himself stated) that Jason wouldn't have slept with Liz if he didn't have some kind of real feelings for Liz deep down. Jason himself told Sam, "you know I don't play games like that, and I wouldn't use Elizabeth". meaning, he wouldn't have slept with Liz just to get payback on Sam or to just use Liz (a friend) as a typical booty call. It would've been different if Jason was a person who would get payback like that. Then I don't think Sam wouldn't have minded as much, because it would have truly just been a ons. And her and Jason could find a way to get passed their ons in time. I liked early JaSam, But then, once she watched while Jake got kidnapped and did nothing and did it out of spite and jealousy and then deliberately watched while hiring fake actors to terrorize Elizabeth and the boys in the park all to prove that she didn’t think that Elizabeth could handle Jason’s life the way she supposedly could, and then after all of that, she saves Jake and Jason ends up taking Sam back, I just couldn’t get into them again after all she’s done and I never will. It’s bad enough she’s risking violating her parole and going back to jail all so she can be with Jason and her miracle children that she has don’t even matter. At least Elizabeth’s kids and their safety always mattered and that’s why Jason and Elizabeth at this time will never be together.
This was me. I started out liking JaSam cause that is who was together when I watched for a short while. I didn't even know about Liason because they were NEVER in scenes together. I did a deep dive during the pandemic on CZcams and I fell in love with Liason. I love how they love each other. It's real. There are so many people who don't get to be with the ones who have their heart. They are the perfect example of that. I'm an educated viewer and I don't need the words to come out of their mouths to see that they love each other. The actors do a great job of portraying that. What got tiresome with the JaSam fans was all the Liz hate. I guess I just relate to Liz more because I don't love how the show rewards women with no education who use their bodies for gain.
